This just came across the wire. Bear Stearns just upgraded SIRI to outperform with a target of 9. Might just get some kind of a news bounce today, but I still think it is a trap right now. Watch the retail guys flooding into it on the news and the wiseguys will be selling off into what looks to be strength. Just my opinion.

My stop is close to what you have all been discussing......... so helpful to come here and read much more intelligent investors than myself taking things apart. I made a lot of money on SIRI last year......... but will not be caught in the trap that you are discussing!

Has anyone else been watching SIRI climb up lately?

Last year I made a lot of $$ with SIRI and then sold. I stupidly bought again and watched it go down, down, down. My plan was to hold long term after my second buy, and I was confident that it would eventually pop back up, which it is starting to do. Can any of those chart gurus out there run a chart? I'm hoping for a big post-Christmas pop on this one!

I own a few shares of SIRI......If it hits 9 I am thinking of selling.... if I can remember it did this last yrs also then went right down...

Fools and every other broker I look up say 9 is target... all say xm is better and target is mean of 40, Still have not decided yet so when in doubt I do nothing but watch closely. I have put a sell stop in place to protect my gains. I had to learn this the hard way but did learn. I have not learn how to post a chart yet but looking at the sma/ema, they are close together without a cross as of yet.. Now, for all protection, I am just learning how to read these charts.

I'm expecting a pullback before it continues higher. Another reason I like it better than SIRI is because it's for a much better cause.

SIRI and ELN look great, and look at these charts that show the case for buying calls for ELN and SIRI and puts for GOOG....or if you're real clever, selling naked puts for SIRI and ELN and selling naked calls for GOOG. Wait a minute; not sure I wanna be selling naked calls for anything right now.......that's just nuts!

SIRI should be interesting tomorrow. My prediction is for a small gap up and flat for the rest of the day. Then the bears will kill it on Tuesday.

Something is brewing with SIRI... Rumors are flying about an Apple - Sirius connection. Not a great chart, but I'll keep an eye on it.

My Vulcan instincts are telling me that SIRI is as close to a bottom as it will get. The inner circle is looking at the strong possibility of a fall run with a strong showing for the Christmas season.

As far as technicals, this is a losing stock, but fundamentals will be totally disregarded. Of course, traders will eventually realize that SIRI is overpriced about two weeks before Christmas and will begin to sell their positions causing the stock price to plummet from around $8 back to its present level of $4.

Yes, this stock is worthless, but who cares as long as I can get in and out before others realize it. jejejeeeeejeje

Will I act upon this opportunity? I'm not sure yet. There is still a little more research to do in order to see if my theory is correct.
