still wishing I'd plunked down some coin on that SNAP back in '22. It went as high as 17 over the next year or so. Currently is down to ~$7 again tho, so... easy come easy go I suppose. Still happy making a 4% return on the cash sitting idle right now, but here's something I thought I would share today, a gamble I decided was just too good to pass up this time.

Yes, that's right, you've heard of the craze these kids are all into now, with the Labubu crap they won't stop talking about! Well, the company that makes those is Pop Mart, and is a $50B+ monster churning out viral beanie babies of the 21st century nonstop and making bank. How can you buy a piece of this action? Easy! Close your eyes, hold your nose and buy Chinese ADR's in Pop Mart with this ticker: PMRTY

I got in with a sizeable buy yesterday at $40 and change, will sell it this year for a 25-50% profit at least. Might hang on to some long term, if it goes high enough to get out with all my money back.

PMRTY is a huge gamble, but one I can't pass up, knowing what I know about how addicted kids are to this crap right now. If you know, you know, and you're going in on this with me! Just picked up some SATS shares today at 116. This company is Echostar, and its main asset is a large chunk of pre-IPO SpaceX stock, so basically the easiest way to get in on the SpaceX IPO this year is to buy SATS and hold onto it until then. I think SATS should more than double by the time SpaceX launches this year! Of course, anything can and will happen between now and then.
