heya webs! yeah, I'm still around too, but just not as active as before. I'm taking a chemistry class right now that's kicking my butt, so until that's done (1 more month) I'm sort of taking a break from trading. I still check in here once or twice a day, but don't participate as much as I'd like to in the chatter.

Also, I need to sit tight and wait anyway, as much patience is needed for stocks like LJPC!

LJPC may be ready to rock. I may consider picking up a few shares soon.

The market sucks so far, but I'm still excited... My deferred account finally dumped Sharebuilder and went with Schwab. Trading will be much easier.

As for my other account, I still use Ameritrade.

My ROCM position is getting off to a decent start, especially considering that most of the market tanked today. My penny plays are still down the drain, but it's only play money. Maybe I'll still hit the jackpot with them...or not.

I won't be taking my annual trip to Europe this year. the dollar is taking a beating....but my European friends are happy! I did manage to pick up some cheap tickets to Denver for August. Yellowstone, here I come!

Hey Karel? How about sending us poor Yanks a donation? LOL

Well.... My ROCM position is holding up well, considering everything. I can't say the same for my little Pink Sheet gambles.

I thank the Vulcan Gods every day that I chose not to convert my retirement from the pension fund to an IRA type account. My retirement is safe and sound!

Back to ROCM.... Have I bought the bottom? So far, it looks like it could be so. This one has some good potential.

Other than what I have right now, I'm staying out of this mess.

I sold off my ROCM positon last week for a very nice profit. I'm planning on buying back soon at a lower price.

My account is now up a little over 20% for 2008, which is a heck of a lot better than I've ever done. Now the trick is to retain this generous profit and attempt to add on to it. I'm going to be real careful on what I buy.

I thought that ROCM was a beautiful setup and chart pattern when you first brought it to the POTW. Glad you made out good with it. Personally I would have liked to have seen it continue the uniform cup base pattern. Those gaps up always give me anxiety because they are made to be filled back down. If you've looked at my charts at StockCharts I've been looking at it as a good setup for a short from the recent highs back down to around 13 to fill those gaps. It looks as if it is going to do just that. I think anywhere near 13 or just a bit lower, I don't think it goes to much lower, would be a great entry for another leg up. I'll be there with you at that point in time and price. Glad to see you're doing so well and that you are back posting and in the POTW. Good show.

Earnings is on Monday, so I think I'll wait until Tuesday to buy back in. I'm betting that earnings won't be that spectacular, which will drive the price down a bit more.
