It looks like Bruce has dropped off the face of the Earth. Wasn't his website something like www.brucecollins.com? Damned if I can remember...

Almost right, it was Dr. Bruce Collin's The Mind OVER Money Show WTMI 1290, website (no longer) at www.brucecollin.com. Only some traces left on the Internet now.

I think what happened was that he finally succeded in proving his non-existence and vanished in a cloud of irony.

          Who are these people?

Are these people (or this person) antagonists? How about a little history for some of us newer members.

          Thanks.
          Happy investing,
          Dave

My opinion is worth no more than the price you paid for me to give it.

Unfortunately all of the remnants of my old Yahoo Group were blown to bits by Yahoo. Probably as a result of Bec's complaints, though I can't prove that. I invited Bec1 to post on my forum. He lasted a little while, but every time he tried to convince everyone that $$$MR. MARKET$$$ wasn't HUGE, I posted yet another winner. It was kind of like the Roadrunner and Wiley Coyote.

Anyway, here is a thread he participated in:

I'm sure if he's out there, that he visits us from time to time. I sincerely welcome him to return, and wish him a happy and healthy 2005.

He's probably out looking for his first 15% winning stock.

OK, but it's a bit tragic. Bec/Bruce Collin, doubtless with the best of intentions, set out to cleanse the world of stock market frauds, scammers etc. For reasons best known to himself, he decided to start with $$$Mr.Market$$$. Now if you only look half, with both eyes closed, $$$Mr.Market$$$ may look a bit like a scammer (it's a reaction that crops up from time to time), but a second look with at least one eye open should show enough differences to get out of crusade mode in a hurry. Any points he could have made, were lost in an unjustifiably hot controversy. He finally went away and asked me to unsubscribe him. That is why the thread Ernie points to is started by Anonymous.

I still think he wasn't a bad guy, but he messed up royally on our forums. It can happen.

                      Regards,

                      Karel

                          Webs,
A true genius or a person with multiple personalities could be anyone or several different people at the same time. Mr. Market could also be IIC or Spike. Webs, you might be a lonely inmate instead of a prison employee. RL might be Warren Buffet just observing us for laughs. I might be an internationallly known celebrity trying to make friends that see me as an ordinary person. Scifos might be a little old lady with only a cat to keep her company. We can create our own reality here. Only we know what is true and what is allusion.
