    BillyJoe's LCAV

    BillyJoe,

I know you like LCAV, so how about this:

Buy LCAV Monday at about 22.35
Sell a covered call option for 22.60 at 1.60 per share.

You make 1.60 (7%) if LCAV is above 22.50 on expiration Friday in February.
    How's that for a deal?

    New-born,
Thanks for the suggestion, but after last week LCAV and most others are not being considered for purchase. Also funds are not available for a while. It may all be clearer after next week. So 2005 has not started out very promising , but all this talk about going to cash. I'm giving it a few more days to decide. Looking forward to your new avatar. I wonder if it will be similar to what I imagined.

      Billyjoe: Forget going to cash

      BillyJoe,

Forget going to cash: invest in a can and make some money while things settle down. I really don't see the market dropping after another week. The bears kinda have to clean off the table to start a new year, and that should be done soon.

Really, now would be a good time to drop some change into a Can and earn some bucks. Cans tend to rise until the ex-date, and then drop about 2x the dividend on the ex-date and the two days there after.

Best investing to you. God bless you and yours. I'll work on that Avatar soon . . . .
