I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. lol....Webs!! Man, I never get sick of saying well done to a Vulcan, especially one as modest as you! lol
Spike,
Well done Webs. Couldn't happen to a better Vulcan. I think we should start calling Webs the Modesto Kid. Sort of in tribute to his modesty and humility in winnig these last couple of weeks. The Modesto Kid. Has a certain ring to it like Billy the Kid or the Vulcan Kid. Just having a good time with you at your expense Webs. We actually really love you but Ed not really like that.
Webs! Congratulations. And hey folks, don't call this Vulcan modest. To a Vulcan it just doesn't make sense to be modest. Not while he is winning, anyway. Isn't he superior?
And this week the POTW beat my Mechanical Fund! Congratulations Lye and all! But with 8-2 there is still some catching up to do! Have at it!
I'm am afraid there is more incentive to protect gains, especially at the top of the rankings, than to cut losses. This drags the POTW down. (And your own average, I might add.) Play the POTW as if it were your own money, folks! You are here to win, if not first place, then at least that green average!
And Lye, I confirm CMCO long!

Karel your right on, thought this was a stock picking contest?
Well, I am pathologically long, dutifully following $$$Mr.Market$$$'s "Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market." Of course everyone has a right to start in cash, or go to cash to protect gains, I am not whining about it, but they ARE wimps, even if they win
