Thanks Webs.... We got about six inches in Bedford County. The below picture taken earlier today gives a glimps into another little known Lyehopper talent.... "Accomplished Snow Sculpture Artist".jejeje



My dogs were in the basement while my son and me made this snowman.... After I took this picture I let them outside. My hound "Jed" walked into the front yard and was startled by this "strangers" presence.... So he started barking like crazy at the snowman. Then he walked up to it.... his back all bristled up, sniffed the snowman then proceeded to hike his leg and pee right on my prized sculpture.... My son laughed and asked me "why Jed pee'd on that snowman?", I said "cause he likes it son"...LOL

I'm jealous Lye... The only material we have to build a snowman down here is sand, and it doesn't stick together too well. Dude, I like the front porch of your house...reminds me of our old house in Kentucky. I used to sit on the front porch with a 22 rifle and pick birds of the power lines over the road..jejeje

I was thinking the same thing about the front porch. Looks real nice to be sipping goji juice and picking off birds and squirrels.

I spent the morning on the couch suffering from a cold...It was really kicking my butt....I couldn't stand it. I had to get up and beat this thing, so we loaded up and headed to the Hard Rock Cafe in Destin for lunch. http://www.hardrock.com/locations/ca...s.aspx?lc=DSTN

I had the club sandwich with fries. It's noisy in there but the food is good. I think we'll try the Hard Rock in Paris when we go there.

Ok, now that I'm feeling a little better...My sinuses are shot, but I am feeling better...I am working on a POTW pick. I'm almost ready to announce it, but I want to run it through the VTP again to make sure.

To be honest...I am pretty sick of hearing how everybody is sick...Here is what I posted (edited) at another forum today:

I do not believe in getting sick...May I suggest that you and your family get a Mantra.

Mine is "Every day in every way I'm getting better and better"...I say this out loud 20x...3x a day...May sound crazy...But I never get sick...Well, I have been sick to be honest...But not very sick and not very often(last time I took a sick day at work was early 80's)...I also do not believe in taking chemicals...I prefer that my body develop antibodies...Of course, there are some ailments that do require antibiotics or something like that...But I prefer not to get those...Doug

PS...I didn't make this up...I stole the theory of auto-suggestion in the 70's...Some say the guy I stole it from committed suicide...But I don't think so:
