Remember that song by Tony Joe White? Well I reckon ol' Poke Salad Annie never met up with Gatorman! This gator is on a tear this week and making the rest of us look like a bunch of silly girly-men!

But wait! What's that ferocious-looking creature wading out into that swamp trying to grab the Gatorman by the tail? Why it's Shadow!!! Shadow has emerged from the shadows to establish a very respectable 2nd place!!! Way to go Shadow. How did he/she do it? ..... The Shadow knows!

Still not to be overlooked in a healthy 3rd is Karel!! And let's see, what was Karel's pick again this week? Why it's CMCO! What a surprise! Ol' Karel's riding high atop that never-ending CMCO wave.

Close behind is Spike with that short strategy he's got goin' on. And me, if'n it won't for that durned VECO pick that Ray says is my fault, I'd be right there a tusslin' with Spike for 4th place.

Well what can we learn from the proceedings so far this week? (1) Stay away from Ray darts, and (2) Stay away from stocks with 3 letters in their tickers and that start with C and end with K!

No, dude. It ain't Alison. It's Linda Perry, former lead singer of 4 Non Blondes. They put out one CD in '93 and sold something like 6 million copies, then they split up. As a solo artist she never got the recognition she deserved, but she's got the best female rock singing voice since Grace Slick. As female rock singers go, Pat Benatar's vocals are about as good as it gets, but Linda, IMO, sings circles around her. And Linda writes most of her own songs too. Don't get me started, man. I could go on and on ... but I'll spare you.
