I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Register for free and you'll be able to post messages on this forum and also receive emails when $$$ MR. MARKET $$$ makes his own trades. ($$$MR. MARKET$$$ is a proprietary investor and does not provide individual financial advice. The stocks mentioned on this forum do not represent individual buy or sell recommendations and should not be viewed as such. Individual investors should consider speaking with a professional investment adviser before making any investment decisions.)

Rob, instead of staying in cash for the next two weeks, enter me into TIII long. It should keep me in the top 5.
By that I'm assuming you mean you want TIII long for both weeks, regardless of what happens the first week.
Okay, this would be a perfect time to bring this up. Here's the deal I'm going to make. Because it's time-consuming enough to keep up with everybody's picks as it is, and also because allowances should be made for those who plan on being away, here's the way it will work: If someone forsees being away, they are allowed to enter their picks more than a week ahead of time with the following understanding: that pick is carved in stone and cannot be changed under any circumstances. The reason is that if someone can get to a computer to make a change, then there really wasn't a need to enter the pick ahead of time in the first place. Does that sound reasonable and fair to everyone? (Not that it really matters. heh heh)

Sounds good to me...Long TIII for the next two weeks. The VTP will prevail.

Thanks, Webs. I just want to discourage anyone from thinking: "I'll just take it easy for the next several weeks and enter my picks ahead of time. I can always come back and change 'em if things aren't going well." That might not have happened, but just in case ...
Here's what I have for this week so far. As always, if I've missed anyone, holler.

Rob...I don't like that rule. It doesn't state when is the earliest a pick can be entered w/o the carved in stone thingy. Is the earliest time after the market closes on Friday?
Here is what is going to happen to me...On the Friday before Easter I am going on a 3 night cruise. I plan on leaving the house before the market closes on Friday. I might not be home before the market closes on Monday. Now I can put in my pick or cash in the internet cafe onboard...But "What If" on the off chance that the internet connection on the ship just happens to go down the whole weekend...I can't enter before the market closes on Monday?...I doubt that that will happen...But it could...Although I guess I could hit an internet cafe in Mexico...But what if that's down too?
Anyway, in my case I think I should be able to say I start in cash on Friday morn for the next week and then make any changes after I get back the following week...Doug(IIC)

You know how to make things tough on a guy, don't you? Remember this? Shoot, if I've got to wait a freakin' year, I guess you take your chances on one week. I'm trying to keep things as uncomplicated as I can. Cut me some slack, dude! Now cut that out ... I can hear you calling me those nasty things under your breath.
(See my reply of 3:58 today before responding to this one.)
Found a very interesting stock on one of my screens. Using the idea that you do not have to like or even agree with the philosophy of the company to buy it's stock, I almost selected LGBT.
However, I could not bring myself to do so. Someone else might want to have a look at it though.
My pick for the week is NTCT long.

Geez...You've got GREAT Ears...You must be a Vulcan to hear me muttering those dark oaths under my breath 3,000 miles away...LOL
It's not my fault you didn't join till it was too late...Blame Lye...I always blame Lye when there's nobody else to blame...Well, that's not exactly true...Sometimes I like to blame Webs.
Hey...I don't see you signed up for the Mr. M Convention...I really want you to come...I know that it will take all 3 of you to try to out WITS me...Best...Doug

As much as I'd like to be there, I don't know if I can, because I have certain obligations that may prevent me from going, and it's impossible to predict. Best to you too.
