Originally posted by KarelThanks Rob, for the score. And it sure looks strange, this scorecard. I mean, my own portfolio is setting new dollar highs, my Marketocracy portfolios are roaring, so are the indices (the R2000 is flat, however), and both the POTW and the POTW+ are deep, deep down, -2.2% and -2.7% respectively. What is happening?
Regards,
Karelor should I post

Here's something interesting. I normally focus on smaller cap stocks with my research. I entered this CNBC fantacy Portfolio deal last week. They have a minimum equity rule so my searches for the contest are now focusing on larger companies (Example: GEHL, ECOL and PARL do not qualify for this contest). Guess what?.... I'm finding some pretty decent larger cap stocks.jejeje.... stuff I have overlooked for a long time. Just goes to show ya that you can get stuck in a rut if you're not carefull.BEEF!... it's whats for dinner!

Rob, my hat's off to you for maintaining these records......If I had to sift through all these posts and then look up the prices and post to the board, I tell you there'd be a mutiny by now......I am personally only posting one pick per week to make things just a tiny bit easier for you.

I understand your position, Lye, and respect your opinion, and hopefully you see where I am coming from.
If ever I had time to be scorekeeper, I would start a new thread for buys and sells only, and leave this thread for all of the noise -- I would not want to search through all of the noise and blather to get to the meat.
I am sure others have their own opinion -- this is mine and I'm sticking to it.

Originally posted by LyehopperLOL.... I hear ya dude!.... But do ya really think there would be no "noise and blather" on a new thread?.... We all just love "noise and blather" too much. PLUS the picks mingled with the noise and blather is what make this thread interesting (the picks just need seperate posts).... So.... I would like to state for the record that I too respect your opinion.... BUT, I must respectfully say.... You are just flat-out WRONG.jejeje

Regarding arguing -- I don't consider this arguing -- merely discussing a point of view -- arguing for me gets emotional and I try to stay away from stuff like that. OK, your turn to reply....Tim - Retired Problem Solver

Week 14 (1), Day 4
First off, thanks, all, for the nice words. And Jim, thanks for your consideration, but seriously, if you want to switch mid-week, then by all means switch. Just try to keep an eye on who's got what so as not to pick one that already taken. And, BTW, looks like you weren't kidding about BEBE! Nice job, dude!
Huge Pete Huge is still huge! Ray's latest pick, FIZ, is proving so far to have plenty of fizz! Nice one, Ray! And look at ol' Curly, turning around with that long 2x4 over his shoulder and whacking us all in the back of the head with OPWV ... again!
And here I am, dipping into the red ink once again, and after such a good start this week, too.Oh well, my GOOG and TS have been putting a
on my face lately.
