Truth be told, I was out of town for the long Memorial Day weekend & when I unpacked on monday, I realized I had to make a pick. I picked up my trusty IBD that was there with all my weekend mail, & made a lucky guess. (IBD listed IFO as 3rd in it's weekly top 100.
Now, that lucky guess was made after I used some Brite-o that we stooges once hawked as street salesmen. Actually, it spilled on the newspaper & the only part that was legible was where it said IFO!
So there, my secret is out!

I woulda got it at 6.03 open...sold at 6.20(from memory)...But if it had kept going I coulda held.

To be honest I clicked Submit at 9:30:45 according to eSignal...But this isn't the Fastest Forum Site around....So I got the 9:31.00 price.

I'm going back to real pix from now on...Ended up damaging my YTD performance.

So that's it. You waited until the opening bell, spotted a stock that started taking off right away, and tried to snatch it at the opening price before the first minute transpired. Mmm hmm.

Had your trade been entered at 6:30 PDT, your total avg. would be higher by 0.12% and your Q2 avg. by 0.30%.

Had you not played a 2nd pick at all but stuck with your 9.74% gain, your total avg. would be higher by 0.28% and your Q2 avg. by 0.69%.

Here's the real kicker. Had you stuck with SWB through to the end of the week, your total avg. would be higher by 0.40% and your Q2 avg. by 0.98%, placing you at the top of the list sorted by Q2 avg., the spot now occupied by Gary. Gary's 40.47% IFO play this week shot him up 12 places on that list from last week. And that was only because he spilled Brite-o on his copy of IBD.

Edit: In fact, now that I look at it again, sticking with the 9.74% gain on SWB would also have been enough for you to edge into the top slot.

I thought that you owned the stock. Do you still own it? That article by Stocklemon is just one way on the two way street of opinions. I wouldn't be one to overreact to hastily to whatever their take on the stock is. This type of stuff goes on everyday with lots of issues an insider ownership and selling. There is alot of rebuilding that is going on in Louisiana and will continue to go on down there. Someone is going to do that work and HOM is right in the thick of it. Stocklemon puts out an article like that on their website and expect people to accept it verbatim. What's to say they aren't as far off base as the other side is with their earnings reporting and guidance of late. I'm not saying the article is completely wrong but I wouldn't be acting to hastily because of it.
