I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Rob, Karel, Dmk,You guys are terrific great picks I think someone messed with my darts or could It be my head, four down weeks In a row may have to just throw names In a hat and pick.
Congrats on another HUGE victory, Rob. I thought Karel had it locked up with the Schwiiingin' PCCC but you managed to nudge him out for the win! Nice job both of you, and DMK your respectable 3rd place, combined with the 35% gain for week 30 will no doubt cement your cumulative leadership in the "Special K" category- the results of which I hope to have out this weekend... stay tuned!
as for my pick next week, I'll go with $$CASH$$ for now, thanks!
Thanks for the good words, all o' yous. (That means "all o' you'uns," Peanuts.) The law of averages suggests that I will not be able to repeat and win the fourth quarter too. Perhaps, but I'm still going to try to beat the law of averages.
[...] Karel, Karel, Karel! Do you realize that at one point today (shortly after 10:30 Eastern US time) you were up by 25%??? It was very kind of you to take a dive like that for me and all, but you didn't really have to. Nevertheless, you finish the week with the silver medal and a highly respectable 8.96%! It was quite a contest this week! [...]
Well, Rob, I missed the top, but I was sorely tempted to pull the trigger when I saw that PCCC started to slide. But PCCC is a Mechanical Fund pick, and I just keep hanging in on those until they drop from the screen. You are welcome to your win! In real money, I am in at $9.00.
And ski: no problem! The volatitlity in this stock just worked wrong, if you want to call +9% wrong. I am glad I am working back to the positive side in the Total Averages. That is where I want to be.

Karel

Congrats also to Rob, Dio, RL, Doug and ParkT for outstanding performance. Someone following the picks of any one of you over the last 13 weeks would have averaged at least a 1% gain for every week. That is indeed HUGE!
