I had a nice day today but that's without a doubt the best news I've heard all day. God bless her Ray.

I do own a nice position in ALLI.... I trimmed it after the crash.... Then I started buying again a few weeks ago.... I still like it and think it's gonna go to $20.

Thanks for the congrats guys!..... And Doug-E-Fresh, DUDE!.... YOU owe me a buck!.... I said I'd beat you by 2%.... BUT I was really thinkin' more like 17%....SsSsSssssss!

Rockin'Rob, start me off in ca$h next week please.... Oh! and another thing.... When breaking apart the word "lyehopper".... The term "hopper" here is referring to "a container" or storage device. Somewhere in this thread I tell the story of how "Lyehopper Hollow" got it's name. But the mental image of me hopping around in "caustic soda" is kinda funny. jejeje
        BEEF!... it's whats for dinner!

You made my week there Doug. And to think that I beat you with that stinker that you like so much HSOA. I was feeling bad there for awhile but my old bud Doug pulled me right out of that funk.

                    Hello Ray,

There is so much bad news, it is so refreshing to hear that your daughter
received her miracle and is now home -- when is the baby due? It is so comforting to know that we all rest safely in the palm of our Father's hand. I have your daughter's name on my daily prayer list. Let her know that there are people praying for her full recovery. Have a great day.

                          Ray,

Keep us updated on her recovery. Each time I hear about it, it makes the day even better, and any of my worries seem miniscule in comparison. I really hope the best for her and your family.

Congrats Lye on a victory for the VTP!

Supreme Leader, I appologize for my poor showing this week- 7th place is not good enough for domination. Next week will be better. Shorting this market should prove viable, and I plan to use the Vulcan Death Grip technique on a stock of my choosing...

It was fun to own the stocks which I played in POTW... but, I doubt I will do this very often.

Yes, I know. I first learned this use of the term in the summer of 1976 when I took a job as a sandblaster at a little shop in Van Nuys, CA. In those days we still used silica sand (now considered hazardous). When the hopper, that looked similar to this one ...

... (but without those external attachments), became empty, I would have to shovel all the sand off the floor back into the hopper and go through it again. It was easily the dirtiest job I ever had.
