Gwhiz, congratulations on a spectacular performance last week! You deserved a good write-up, but I was in a foul mood, and I'm sorry about that. ERS was a HUGE pick, Dude!

Webs, congrats to you too on the bronze. I don't know if you were watching real-time, but IMCL and NXG were in a see-saw battle for second place there for a while.

After careful consideration I've decided to continue keeping score for the time being. I really felt like passing the torch, due to certain circumstances of which some of you are aware.

What it comes down to, meatphorically speaking—and it really is as simple as this—is that I only like breathing clean air.

As usual, I would first like to congratulate our latest $$$HUUUUGE$$$ member, GWhiz on a fine showing of hugeness this week with a long position in ERS. Way to go, Whizzy, you are $$$HUUUUUUGE$$$

Rob, Webs, well, you guys are BIG. How's that?

Mr. Rob, For next week, I would like to start with a short position in THC

Tenet Healthcare is the owner of the hospital in which doctors were "mercy-killing" patients in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina. Remember all the news stories about this, and then silence? Well.... I didn't forget. These guys are putting themselves up for sale. It seem that every week something else gets liquidated. These guys need cash, badly. So, I picked THC short for several reasons: 1) what I just said 2) heathcare stocks are not doing well in the market recently 3) I think the overall market needs to cool off a bit 4) I'm always short on the THC

Maybe I'll be lucky this week, and they will fall off the cliff.

Methinks you may be the troublemaker, trying to stir up trouble where there isn't any. Rob emailed me privately and told me of the rule I broke. Square dancing???? I haven't square danced since I was 10 years old and we had a one-week unit of square dancing in my 5th grade class. What I do is country western dancing, which is a different animal. Why, oh why, does everyone ask me about square dancing when I don't square dance??? Um, I don't disagree with Rob's profanity request. I think if it really bothers him (and I believe it does) and he has humbly requested that it be kept to a minimum, I think it would be nice if everyone did keep it to a minimum. When I said I wasn't bothered by it as much, I added the caveat that I probably haven't seen as much as he has because of how new I am to $$$Mr. Market$$$.

Maybe a little but not anymore than anyone else here. Just trying to make you feel at home.

And what the heck ever happened to Scifos? He gets married and he's never heard from again. His honeymoon must've been either really good or really bad!
