      Geez Doug,
I don't like getting all these assignments. Feels like 6th grade all over. Well, I went back to the beginning and would you believe only 16 different stocks have been #1. HANS took up nearly a year. I'm not counting the same stock over and over unless there was a gap between #1 appearances. Also I'll check more than just the 3 month performance. Look for results on your thread . It will take a while.

Hey, where is the Pick of the Year Results ? I finally go green after all these months and you don't post? The vacation is over.... hit the keyboard.

Wake up Billy...I posted the standings on Sunday morning http://www.mrmarketishuge.com/showthread.php?t=1095

The first year I only updated the IIC 100 once a month...then I started doing it weekly.

Notice that HANS was #1 then dropped off for one week and back to #1...If I recall correctly, it had to do with an eps projection change

            Doug,
You're just too sharp for me. I never saw it. The new posts are always highlighted until I read them and POTW never turned dark for some reason. Could be my eyes.

                Karel,

I didn't get anything from Rob yet regarding spreadsheets. I can downsize my spreadsheets from yesterdays size without any problem so that they fit within your parameters. If I'm going to do this I would like to do it with my own ideas, especially if I'm going to be doing all the work. Was there a problem with the yesterdays format as far as containing everthing that was required and necessary to see where everyone was at. Whatever corrections need to be made from where I picked it up at yesterday will be made tonight. I am going to need some help with the time of sales from someone who has that available to them. We'll work that out though.

I would appreciate that anyone that didn't get their picks for the POTW posted yesterday or if something was wrong with the way that I entered them please restate them for me on this thread again today. Thanks. I'm sure we will be able to work through any problems.

                      Hi Ski,

I appreciate the part about your own ideas, by all means make your own tools. Suggestions about your current setup:
                      - use a smaller font size and don't use bold
                      - Wednesday currently needs two columns
                      - keep as much text as possible out of the image
                      - IIRC it is possible to alternate the row background color with conditional formatting

But it is your baby now!

                      Regards,

                        Grebnet,

I've always appreciated your contributions. I agree with the PACT set-up. Looks great. I'm on it, but my entry is not figured out yet. I'm still planning the trade. Thanks!

I agree wholeheartedly, Ski! This is one of my major pet peeves in life. If someone asks me to do something, I want to do it my way. They don't get to ask me to help and then tell me how to do it. Similarly, if I'm volunteering for something, it's because I already know how to do it. I won't volunteer when I don't know what I'm doing. The only exception would be if I'm being asked to help with something and I don't know how to do it. When it's a learning experience, I'll take all the help I can get. Otherwise, leave me alone and let me do it myself.

I really have no problemo with asking for help with the Excel spreadsheet formulas as I need it. There is so much it can do and I am eager to learn more about the use of them and making them work for me. One of the reasons behind doing this was to be able to ask those questions in relation to building a spreadsheet that is precise and entertaining. Right now I'm just trying to ease into it as it happened so fast. With a little help from my friends, right. I'm not trying to change things just to give my own ideas a chance and to blossom and also see what everyone else would like. And then say no! Not really. I want to continue on in the manner that Rob started by trying to enhance the experience of the POTW as we move forward. An in conclusion my loyal constituents, if you vote for me there will be 5 commission free trades in every account on Tuesday. God bless all of you.
