You know Ski everyone here has been so supportive of you in your noble POTW effort this week and Lord knows I did my part to help you by staying in ca$h....

How do I say this to my old bud Skiracer.... hmmmmm, OK here's how.... Ski, friend, bud, pal.... I knoooow that you're really a great construction project manager and I think you're worth.... not $3k per week.... but $5k per week.... Maybe even $10k!.... I also think you are a great big game hunter (btw muzzleloader season opens tomorrow) and a very fine and talented striper fisherman..... I have heard rumors that you were even quite the ladies man, back in the day.... AND STILL ARE (if you want to be) But as the POTW scorekeeper? you really suck dude! That said; I'll pay you a healthy Goji severance package to retire early as POTW scorekeeper right now!

I say we ALL just plead with Rockin'Rob to return and try not to curse quite so much in the future. Maybe Rob is just "sitting out" as a protest or something. Knowing him as I do, I'll bet he has an updated scorecard on his laptop right now and can post it in about twenty seconds if he wanted to.

lol.. the last time a bunch of good 'ol boys (drunks) tried to attack me (there were 4 of them) I laid two of them out and then started wrecking their car with rocks. One tried to pull a hammer on me so I figured I was justified. This happened in front of funeral home in Radford VA while I was walking around the neighborhood looking for my girlfriend's cat. Maybe one of them was you...if it was, I apologize for that beatin', but you guys started it!

Guys, I hardly ever ask for anything from anyone that I am not ready to do myself. When it comes to the use of profantity I've got one of the filthiest mouths going. I'm not so proud to announce that here in front of everyone but it's the truth. As far as fighting and killing I'm probably way out in front of everyone here except maybe Runner. I'm also not proud of that but it is the truth. But I am going to ask you to consider this request from me regarding my thread. I hate to see this arguement happening between members in the first place but please not on my thread. Tatnic I expressed to you earlier that I valued whatever you have to say anytime on this tread and I still mean it but please take this somewhere else. I don't think this is the place for it an I don't want to be part of it and have it taking up space here. Perhaps we should start a thread where if two members want to argue they can do it there and if anyone else wants to read that stuff or particapate they can without involving everyone else.
I love to express myself with the F & MF words every chance I get on the construction sites because it gets everyones attention but I don't need to do that here and don't want anyone else using profanity or carrying their arguements over onto this thread.
It's a simple request amongst friends and I would expect everyone to comply with it. Just for the record it is hard for me to not use the profanity to express my feeling about specific points that I am trying to convey but I want to go on record as agreeing with Rob on this profanity thing. I don't think it is necessary or vital to any of us to need to use it but if you must then I would have to ask you nicely once and warn you once and then it's the ignore button. So please take this request about the arguing and profanity into consideration for me. Thanks. Ed

Actually Tatnic I didn't realize that I was on the POTW thread and was speaking like it was mine which is way off base. I meant what I posted earlier for my own personal thread and not this one. I don't speak for everyone participating in this thread and by no means control it just because I'm using Rob's program and spreadsheet to keep the score without doing a thing except to capture it and upload it over here. Maybe make a few changes for entries and exits and prices etc. and for a full three days. Anyway I think it is big of you to take the high road on this. Thanks.

Any man who will spend time looking for his girlfriend's cat is OK by me. I heard somewhere that men will tell women they love cats but when the women aren't looking, men kick cats. I love cats and will have nothing to do with any man who is cruel to animals, especially cats.

I love cats. We just lost two treasures within the last two years. My wife still can't look at a cat without getting tears in her eyes. We had a Maine Coon named Nissa and a Mynx called Critter. The Maine Coon had six toes. The sixth toe was like a thumb. I think they also call the Hemingway's because at his joint in Key West he had a bunch of them running around with six toes. I saw that with my own eyes in the early 1950's when we lived in Key West.

We've got an awesome Maine Coon cat. I'll try to post a picture. We had real racoons on the back porch and the cat dwarfed them.
