I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. [...] It's been a long time since Karel has been on his bicycle, and he's a little wobbly on it. Let's hope he remembers how to ride one of those things. [...]
Just for the record: for most Dutch their first bicycle is something of a rite of passage, somewhen in their Kindergarten years. When people have to admit they no longer can ride a bicycle because of the infirmities of old age, that really hurts. We must be a strong claimant for "greatest number of bicycles per caput", and that is not counting all the bikes in the Amsterdam canals.

IIC can't seem to get out of reverse. He's on his way to Altria HQ to get a new camera that was lost in the fire. So far, he has trouble focussing. NBB is grinding his gears. Once he learns to use the clutch, he might get moving in his VW Bug. Skiracer stopped at Lyehopper's house and dropped off the skunky backpack and made a decent profit, but his new venture trying to sell Lyehopper's famous FORG's does not seem to working out for him. Let-it-ride rode his rooster, ICOC, for all it was worth on his way to the race track... a skinned knee and bruised chin is all he really got. That's OK, now he's got a chinese chicken that will get him there for half price. Karel keeps to his bike and just like the old saying... never forgot how to ride it. He's in third place on his way to church. RL slowed down a little to show the kids some new tricks he learned on his skateboard, but he's still in 2nd. And our new leader is ParkTwain. Rumors have spread that he's using the new Vista system and that's why he is so fast... Speaking of fast, Websman cought a little traction, but his tires are still spinning. He's moved a little from the starting line. Scifos' dog is back on its feet.

Actually, it worked out well for a friend of mine though...I told her over the weekend to bail on MOT...But she didn't listen. Well, she was able to get out today with a small profit.

Hey, Peanuts. Two thumbs up on your scorekeeping efforts in general and especially for now ordering the players in descending order of weekly gain. Much easier to read that way. Thanks!
You know I can't do that and that wasn't my original intention. Only Peanuts has that kind of power over us. I tried to let you have it. You said you thought you wanted to play it again so I backed out of it and took AOB. But you were a bad guy and didn't respond to Peanuts post asking you what you wanted to do. Now Peanuts held you out of it and the POTW this week and without another pick you're down another 3% again this week it looks like. FORG definitely hasn't been good to you. I waited for you to make a decision on it and when you didn't I figured you didn't want it. I thought it was going to go off yesterday but no cigar. Now it looks like I'm holding the bag unless it does what I figured it to do this week. I wish I hadn't tried to be a nice guy and had taken it like I wanted to do on Monday. I would have been in at 1.23 and would be in first place right now up about 6.5%. It looks like we both made a mistake.

I have to agree with you Rob. Peanuts finally listened to reason and put the list in order. It takes alot more time though to do it this way without your code. Now he'll appreciate just how hard it is to keep score.
