Thanks Rob, I used your spreadsheet format from back in the day to tweak this scorecard.

The sorting part is easy. Getting all the correct numbers and figures is the tricky bit.

Once you've got all the stuff you need, the sorting in descending order is just a matter of selecting any cell in the column you want to sort (within the range of rows that have the values to sort) and clicking the button. (At least, that's what the button looks like on my version of Excel (2000).)

No he was the type of guy that would bend over to help you.
He also told me that you used to beg him to give you Stockboys private phone # but that he wouldn't. And that you were the reason that Stockboy left this forum.

                  Week 5, day 3

                  Week 5 - Traffic Jam
day 3 - Hey, quit shoving!!!!

IIC just refuses to take it out of reverse. I guess he likes to lead with his best feature. let-it-ride is choking that chinese chicken instead of riding it. And skiracer is finding out that nobody wants what he's got to sell. Vista or not, ParkTwain is going pretty darn fast. Fast enough to edge out Karel for second, but not fast enough to beat RL on his skateboard for the lead. Those bikini chicks are said to be hotter than riverbabe, but peanuts doubts that... Gatorman is off on the right foot after looking over his GPS. It looks like Spikefader may have stepped on a nail during his jog. Websman can't stop spinning his wheels; That hot-rod will get moving soon enough. Rob just found out that he doesn't have brakes.

Thanks for the fine job in handling the scorekeepers duties. If you would like some help writing Excel macros, give me a holler!

Where do you go to get the interday prices of the stocks as people buy and sell? Business Week?

                        Thanks.

Thanks Tim. I would like to integrate an automatic closing, or real-time price quote download that can find a quote by symbol. I would need to know a site that offers quote downloads and then the functions to use in the spreadsheet. I'm OK at most of Excel, but I just decided to guess on the multiple choice questions for macros in my classes, rather than really learn them I've been putting off catching up for too long. Now is a perfect time; I'll have to pull out my old text books. Man, I thought macros would be like calculus... never have to use it again. Glad I got the basics down, at least.

I get the intra-day prices from TDAmeritrade Streaming Charts

                            Week 5, day 4

                            week 5 - Traffic Jam
                            day 4 - call triple A

I guess we all now know how to motivate RL- just tell him about babes in bikinis, and he'll be anywhere in no time- he's like Michael J Fox on a skateboard. Karel picked up the pace on his bicycle and made his way into 2nd place, followed by Gatorman directly on his way to work. Let-it-ride seems to have found a useless communist chicken that is not responding to being choked. It might be resisting, have the bird flu, or even dead. IIC is getting used to driving in reverse. And skiracer has yet to make a sale. Websman won't have any tread left if he keeps spinning his wheels. Riverbabe is back to where she started- she must have forgotten something at Johnny's house. Big Bird crapped on Rob's windshield and he wrecked into a gas station and blew up.

                              TBV Chinese Chicken

I think the TBV chicken is dead. Probably wouldn't even get a dead chicken bounce if I fired the chicken out of a cannon against a wall. I own last place this week.
