I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Register for free and you'll be able to post messages on this forum and also receive emails when $$$ MR. MARKET $$$ makes his own trades. ($$$MR. MARKET$$$ is a proprietary investor and does not provide individual financial advice. The stocks mentioned on this forum do not represent individual buy or sell recommendations and should not be viewed as such. Individual investors should consider speaking with a professional investment adviser before making any investment decisions.)

I demand a recount...so I won...but did I REALLY win? I'm too lazy to figure it out...Well, not really...but I will let our scorekkeeper go back and recalculate my score...I also had ARBX as a pick...go back and check the posts...I will eagerly await the "Revised" results...Doug(IIC)
"Trade What Is Happening...Not What You Think Is Gonna Happen"
I will volunteer to administer the contest next week .... IF.... I can make it more interesting and change the rules a little.
Here's my proposal: Each contestant can pick a maximum of 4 stocks and a minimum of 2 stocks .... AND at least one pick MUST be a short play and at least one pick MUST be a long play .... (break the rules and you're out for the week, hard ass ain't I? lol)
3 shorts & 1 long, OK .... 2 shorts and 2 longs, OK .... 1 short and 3 longs, OK .... 1 short and 1 long, OK .... 2 shorts & 1 long, OK .... 2 longs and 1 short, OK
1 long NOT OK! .... 1 short NOT OK!
I will list each contestants in order of rank at the time I run the figures (so you can easily tell who's winning). I will post Wed night and Fri night minimum. Everyone vote .... My feeling won't be hurt if you guys find this too difficult and refuse me.

way to mix it up, LH! Sounds good, and for my picks this week I'm going with GFCI long and ABRX short. ABRX is on a straight shot to 0... bankruptcy usually does that to a company:

5.09% still wins. Irony is, it took you the entire week to figure out one of your own picks was missing
Lye, if you run the contest, you make the rules, no questions asked. I like your rules.

No it didn't...I was just waiting all week to see if it would make a difference at the end...And then spring it on you ...so you'd have to change the standings after DRU won... ...but it didn't work out the way I planned.
Lye...I am not interested in shorting...I'll pass

Unfortunately, I believe that's the case... SMARTASS
I do remember your ARBX pick, but somehow it didn't register when I was putting together the spreadsheet. Congrats. You're an excellent picker!

Doug and Ray, A small paradigm shift is in order here! .... I know that I'm just a newby piss-ant "Jr Member" on the HUGE $$$Mr Market$$$'s forum ... But .... GUYS! ... For the TEAMS sake! Let's play ball!
I'm guessing when the sandlot boys suggested "tackle" instead of "touch" you two just opted out .... saying "your mom didn't allow you to get your trousers dirty" .... Come on fellas! it's not so painfull to take a slight "hit or two", Ask $$$Mr Market$$$ he'll tell ya, it'll just toughen you're lilly ass' up a bit.
Your wives will even notice this suttle "difference" in you two next week .... One that they can't explain .... As they don't have to wait an "hour" for a certain little (blue) medication to "kick in" .... They'll wisper to their girlfriends over the phone about what a spontanious "tiger" you've become, all of a sudden! .... It'll be kinda like that "male enhancement" commercial on CNBC. lol .... You'll thank me, I'm sure of it. Reconsider? Hell, you have all day Sunday to pick one .... Just ONE little "stinker stock" and short it for next week .... I won't tell "mom" .... what happens here... stays here.

YOU-da-man Ray!.... thanks for playing .... If Doug can't get permission to play (or sneak out of the house) you will start off the game in the #1 spot this week!
Now about that dart throw that hit SGED ... you might want to throw again, I think it hit somewhere over in the want-ads section .... SGED? not a valid ticker symbol in my data base.
