Yes, that could be an added benefit of this setup. The top ten in the averages list isn't easy to reach, though, and you need to keep it up.

BTW, when I first started posting about a fund I "manage" at www.marketocracy.com, I called that one "My Marketocracy Fund" (Marketocracy ticker QHF). The fund the top 10 is up against is the Mechanical Fund (ticker QHOF).

          • I've been very ill this weekend and haven't had time for any proper homework. I have had this one on watch for the last 3 weeks, so I will just go ahead and take it now.

            AXTI long.

Just got this over the wires. Apparently some paparotcy caught Paris Hilton sending the Websman a $50,000 check for the VTP.

                    SAFM

Yes folks, SAFM makes me sick to my stomach. These days, when I see chicken I turn green...

                    Chicken is not good...

                    Chicken is bad...

SAFM is doomed. SAFM is a perfect short...BWAAHAHAHAAA!!!!

My SAFM short will prove that the VTP is superior.

                    Oh look....SAFM is dropping.

                      Week 13, Day 1

So far this week it looks like a game of Dakat and Mouse:
                      Good plays, dudes!
Note: I just discovered, after the fact, that the closing price for THI is actually 27.10, not 27.20. Sorry, Stooge Dude. I forgot that I needed to check that one manually until Businessweek.com gets their act together on this IPO.

                          Gatorman's average should be 2.15, not 3.15

Get a new calculator dude.... Actually it should be 3.1475%.... Rockin'Robs HUUUUGE program "rounds up" if the fraction is over 0.0050.... and rounds down if under. Thus GatorMan's average is correct as posted @ 3.15%.

btw.... How in the heck did you get 2.15%?.... Let me guess it's that "new math" you kids today are learnin'?

Have you checked your calculator's batteries?
Why don't you actually calculate it and see if I'm right or not before you make yourself sound like an ass yet again. Rounding isn't the issue.

                                1.47 - 4.85 + 11.26 - 3.19 - 2.58 + 1.87 + 10.85 + 2.38 = 17.21
                                17.21 / 8 = 2.15125

THATS how I got 2.15, idiot. And maybe while you're at Wal-Mart getting a new calculator you should pick up a new magic 8 ball because your "new math" guess didn't work out so hot either.

Then again, perhaps you're right about the "new math". All these newfangled computers and fancy desktop calculators must just get you all confused and befuddled as to how to come up with an average. Perhaps all that cow shit is gummin up your slide rule.
