    Beautiful, just beautiful

Nice call on SWSI, Spike! $20! What a ride for you. Too bad I didn't jump in on this one. What we need you to do is post a hot pick of the day every day. And really, really glad you've 'come home.'

Yup, and it's only finished 3 of 5! haha; it's working the 4 correction now, so one more impulse up and it'll be time to hop off.

OK SWSI looks like the count on the hourly is a 12345abc c correction to close, so took it home and will look for the c to hold for more waves tomorrow. The count I was going on looks like it is a truncated 5th and the 234 in it made up the 5th in the hourly, so I think it's definately worth a chance, given the great entry.

            Ski,
Not yet. I like their stuff, but I haven't pulled the trigger.

Looks like Briefing.com affected HANS for awhile yesterday--
or maybe permanently. I'll have to look at the chart, but it may
have made something like an evening star for HANS.

              GooG

Spike, Ski, Runner, MTM, and Everyone:

What do you think of GooG? Look at this chart. GooG is below support, under two layers of resistance, and yet--hold on to your seat please:
GooG's $300 AUG calls are selling for $3.95.
              $300 Sept calls are $9.30
              $300 Dec calls are $21.40
$300 Jan calls sell for $24.60!
And yet, right now GooG is looking weak. One could buy the stock and sell a covered call and have almost 10% in hand! Wall Street believes GooG is a $350-$400 stock, wouldn't you say?

              How would you play it?

                New-Born,
Am back to even on old Hot Pick Of the Day PCU. Do you have a positive view to the future on this one without taking dividends into account? Thanks,

I expect PCU to continue to rise in price simply because China's economy is booming, and copper continues to be in great demand, and should be for the next 4-5 years.

                  FRO:
At $40 level, pays a 28% dividend. What's wrong with that?

What's wrong with it is that FRO will not be able to keep paying $10/yr dividends once GFCI reopens the taps on the Texas black gold, and demand for $80-$100 foreign oil (yes, that's where we're headed) wanes.

Yeah, but when is the demand for foreign oil going to wane? Five years from now? Or 50?

I did read somewhere that AMNL is working on a drug to reduce dependency on foreign oil . . . .

They've already got that drug. It gives you diarrhea so you can't drive and have to run everywhere.

proven method to curb oil dependency

                            B.J.,
Here's the generic version. If it doesn't work you've got cast iron plumbing.

                            1. Eat approximately 2 pounds large sweet cherries. Swallow them whole or spit out the pits. It won't matter.

                            2. Eat one pound sweet red seedless grapes.

                            3. Wash down with 2 liters classic coke.

                            4. Wait a few minutes then get ready to run. Do not get in an automobile.

Down South we just call it "the Green Apple Quick Step." (You can figure out the ingredients on your own).

Have you tried the new C2 Coke? Tastes just like regular Coke, but with half the calories.
