I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. NB,
Do you still own CHT? I'm down 11%. Is it time to sell?
Thanks
No, I do not own it. Tell me your buy point. The chart looks like it has stabilized at current levels. Tell me your buy point and I will put up a chart.
Rick
Are we talking about the same stock? My chart shows CHT as never having been $21.50 per share. Or do you mean $20.50 per share?
IN any case, here's the CHT chart. Very choppy since the horrible drop through several layers of support. I checked the options market to see if you could sell covered calls to pull you back to even, but the option markets for CHT are all closed for today.
CHT doesn't look strong from this point. The channels are very wide, and I have no idea about what she is going to do next. She is trying to stablize hereself around the current price. The channels point slightly downward since she has 'righted' herself after that drop. Not bullish.
In conclusion, all I can tell you is that CHT is trying to stablize around the current price action. I think she will have to pull back to around the recent low of $18.50 in order to get her head on straight again. She really took a blow to the head.
Sorry that I cannot be more help to you at this time.
New-born,
Your million dollars worth of BMHC stock is now worth $970,875.28. No big deal , down just 2.9%. It is digesting the situation before it takes off again. Right New-born ? New-born , where are you? You wouldn't disappoint thousands* of Mr. Market members counting on that pizza ? No I didn't think so. Go BMHC Rah! Rah! Rah!

BillyJoe,
It's a cinch if your millionaire friend will let me sell the covered calls. The $90Dec call is selling for $9.10--that's $99.09 per share after commisions, or approx. $7 per share profit, or about 8%. On the other hand, if BMHC pulls back to $83, I'm still even. Nice, huh?
Great post NBB loved the way you explained the charts. Thi morning I hit CRZO with the dart could you take a look and give me your take? With you AND spike maybe I can make a little do rae me.
