Breakout Scan

Hi All,
Has anyone found a potential "Breakout" chart pattern scanner?
Does it exist? I mean, if StockChat scan can pick out a Morning Star,
I am sure it will not be difficult to program picking up those which have consolidated for a while, ya..?

What patterns do you want? Flat bases, Cup w/ Handles etc???

Something that would have listed CMN in June 2004, or VDSI end Oct 2004
while they were waiting to breakout of a consolidation.
Technically the stock should be range trading for a
period of say more than 4 weeks, then the trigger would be
an EMA Golden Cross plus a gap up from the range resistance, or
Bullish Engulf above the resistance. I am letting my thought run wild.
Appreciate all comments.

I'd try stockcharts.com ...You can sign up for one month to play around with it. I have the RealTime service...Not sure what type of scanning you get with the basic service...IIC

Find an old "Introducing The Beatles" record or any Elvis record on the "Sun" label, at a yard sale for a buck or so and you can do a lot more than double your money.

hey, whaddya know. right on schedule... GMSV has doubled today from 0.0001 to 0.0002, at least 4 times so far today. albeit on volumes of a nickel or penny, but really, who does that?! that wasn't you, right micky? I mean, if you doubled your penny, well, good for you.

I guess buying 1000 shares for a dime might make some sense if you shorted them for $200 a month ago...
