Can you believe Syracuse lost??

I knew Vermont had a pretty good team and I can only say my prayers were answered. Yes I can truthfully say that I can believe they lost to a decent Vermont team. A bit of a stretch but yes. I bet they can't believe it. They played a terrible game with more than enough turnovers to keep Vermont in the game and give them a chance to win.

So I hope this doesn't mean you now have no interest in the rest of the games. What are your picks for this round?

Texas Tech in the Sweet 16. Go back and check. Texas Tech never even sniffed the tournament prior to Coach Knight's arrival. The guy can flat out coach!

I loved him at Indiana an I love him at Texas Tech. Gonzaga is a good team to bad they had to lose but they got beat by a good team and coach. He's back in the sweet 16. He'll shake things up abit. So it's either Wake Forest or W. Virginia. He'll have them ready to play for sure. Either one will make for a good game.

Down to sweet 16 round. All of the #1 seeds still in it. There were a few big upsets today in what I would call thrilling basketball games. Wake Forest, Boston College, Connecticut, Oklahoma all lost either in overtime or by a point or two. Excellent tournament if you love basketball.
Heeeeyaaaa!!!!!!! Go DUKE. Had to get that in.

None of my Final Four made it.

Only Illinois for me. Lately I haven't been able to hit the floor if I fell out of bed. Don't like North Carolina because of the Duke connection in the ACC. Never liked Michigan St. because I'm a big Notre Dame fan and you know how that rivalry is. Also because of their history with Duke in baskets. I like Louisville but didn't pick them to go this far. I would take either Illinois or Louisville to win it all and be happy with those results but the other two would disappoint me bigtime. But the way things have been going of late bet against the ones I like.
