      AACE merger question

So who else got the AACE voting proxy?

How are you voting on the merger? (or how would you vote, if you didn't need to both own shares and lick an envelope to do so?)

      My vote is undecided.

I think it's all over but the shouting...time to start a new streak.

Are you saying what I think you're saying? And if so, would that entail eliminating all current positions?

it's a buyout for a cash price of $30..which is less than a 15% gain on my purchase price. Therefore my streak would recommence at the first open position I own subsequent to my AACE purchase.

I would say that your streak would remain intact if you take the percentage gain or loss at $30 for AACE, and apply that to the new company. Thus if you have a 5% gain on AACE, and wait until the new company posts an additional 10% gain ON YOUR INITIAL INVESTMENT, your streak is still alive.
And I really think you ought to keep the streak going. Really

That's voodoo economics..a streak is a streak and I respect its integrity.

                      New-born,
That's very creative . I never would have thought of that.

I doubt that anyone else has ever had a many consecutive winners as you have had. I see no shame in starting fresh.

No way is it voodoo economics. The company still exists; it was just bought out and absorbed by the new company. But hey, if you want to quit, you want to quit.

I wouldn't call it quiting. It would be more like starting fresh.

It would be a great opportunity to start a massive PR campaign, in order to lure new members to this already huge message board. There could even be a challenge issued for anyone who can beat Mr Markets winning streak...of course, I seriously doubt that anybody could.

                              Webs,
Over at the IBD boards Mr.Market got attacked all the time , but nobody ever tried to challenge the streak. You'd think someone would at least get to 10 , but no , they knew they weren't HUGE.
