So far I'm liking FRGB- banks are always nice to have, and it looks like this one weathered the recent banking storm like a champ. It probably doesn't have the R^2 to make your top 5 though...

On the other hand, FTO is an oil stock on steroids... check it out:

I want to know what makes this one tick! Look, even a downgrade today had no effect:

I guess this is what happens when your earnings grow from $1M to $3M to $70M from 2002-2004.

SEB still looks good, even at 1750, and I imagine that'll be on your top 5 again.

I also like TIE, SWB, and DIOD (would you look at the earnings growth on that one!)

        Hi ernie,

I'm already in CME, SWB (low PE up to recently), and RATE, each shown in your dump. I caught the most recent upsurge in CME, but it has been consolidating for 5 or 6 sessions (market is waiting for word on possible offer by CME to merge with the CBOT before the latter goes IPO).

I prefer to buy right at or just after making a new all-time high. Also currently watching AZR, TTI, MTW, and SGMS (none of which are in your data dump). These are all imminent breakout candidates.

Stocks listed on your data dump that are also found on BUYINS.NET's "buyin imminent" list:

          ENWV
          HANS
          MWY
          PDA

Given $MM$$'s stringent selection criteria, each of these would look to be an extremely poorly chosen naked short position bet by the market. As those naked short positions are covered, it is pushing up the stock price, even beyond what the positive financial fundamentals (found in $$MM$$'s scan) would lead one to expect.

I recently bought VLO (cost base/share 75.1), PBR (49.1), SPF (88.2), PTC (31.3) and FTO (32.9). Any one of these will do

Looking back to 2002, MrMarket BOT RYL on 4/10 at 100.35 then sold it 3 weeks later at 116.17 for a nifty 16% gain. Since then it has split 2 for 1, then advanced to a $79.21 close yesterday. Is it possible MrMarket will go double dippin' in this home builder's issue?

(See my previous post in this thread.) Have to smile today about my SWB (about a 55% gain over a hold of 9 trading days; got filled right at the high of the day today!) and yesterday about my TTI. Turned out I was front-running J.J. Cramer re: SWB without knowing it.

It's great to see that more of the breakout setups are actually turning into breakouts this month. $$MM$$'s results are also showing the latest strength in the markets.

                Regards,

I'm somewhat expecting STV to do next week what SWB has been doing in June/July. Note the recently passed highway bill in Congress. Cramer seems to be onto it also.
