Hey Ernie, Am I missing something here? MDC high for the day was $55.09 & it closed at $54.00. I think you said you would sell at $59.40.

Definitely time for a poll---this is absurd!!!
This has nothing to do with the tortoise and the hair---the key is the tortoise did not brag that he would win in a 4-6 week sprint! Let's put this MDC one up for a poll!
Oh, and yes, you can go broke taking a profit, Ernie---example: If a person has $50,000 and invested it in MDC on July 10, 2002 and in the meantime invested his or her other investments lost $200,000 (and you had invested your entire net worth) including margin now owed of $170,000 between July 10,2002 and when you now are thinking of selling MDC on November 1, 2003 (over a year later!)--- try telling your broker, your family, and your bankrupcy attorney, that you are huge...

I don't blame Norm
Norm, on May 8, 2003 (well after the 4-6 week time frame of the stock pick on July 10, 2002) MDC had an 11 for 10 split. Ernie could not have anticipated this as it was sooooooooooooooooooooo much after the 4-6 week time frame within which he said he would sell the stock!

Oops! Now you did it Ernie, you pissed off the Mad Professor!
I see 2 different target price's. The buy/sell price on the homepage differs from the buy/sell price posted on this board. Which one is right? Let's put this one up for a poll. Or is it up a poll?

Big Norm...Bec1 is correct...the stock split 11 for 10 so that the 59.40 target price is reduced to 54.00. I did not have a sell order in and hopefully I will sell it tomorrow. If not, I'll hold it longer.=============================

I stand corrected....
Bruce, I'm sorry, BubbaThe split explains it. It's must be that I'm angry with the Yankees today. I work in Vermont with 200 Red Sox fans and I have to catch a lot of crap.
The only 2 Yankee fans are me (I'm born in Brooklyn) and the Human Resource Director. (He's from the Bronx)
Tomorrow's another day!

I am on your side on this one
Norm, very simple. Just say the following to the 200 Red Sox fans: 1918.
You also may get a kick out of my diatribe on the MDC poll forum using a Sox example.Hang in there---the Bronx Bombers are still the best! One other suggestion: tell the Human Resource Director to only hire Yankee fans in your company, or, better yet, if they don't quit harassing you, I will come up and conduct 10,000 polls!
