Man, you are an even better stock picker than stock seller!

You missed CME, TOL and BMHC, and I don't know how many others. Your winning stocks record, which is incredible, would be even more incredible if you'd put in limit orders to sell them.

Thanks for everything you do for us here. We all love MM. Please don't take my comments here for anything more than a friendly jibe.
      you left out CMTL

        Billy,
Looking at BMHC, and it looks to be forming an inverted s~H~s. Could pop higher very shortly.

          New-Born,
FRO is long gone. I was thinking how unusual that oil companies "disasters" always seem to result in record profits for them down the road. What other industry can do that? What oil sector will boast the greatest profits from Katrina? The president says he will not tolerate price gouging by oil companies. Our prices rose 50 cents per gallon in Ohio yesterday. What is your definition of price gouging ?

Think of it this way. If gasoline were very scarce, how much would you be willing to pay for it, if your alternative was to sit home all weekend because you have no gas in your car's tank to take you anywhere?

Considering this fact, has anyone ever thought that maybe the price of gasoline has been way to inexpensive for a very long time?

That S~H~S never developed. But it turned into an ascending triangle.
I am back in business looking for a quick .75 cents.

Jiesen would make an excellent person to execute your sell orders
Yeah, except that I failed to sell this morning as well. My limit was good for yesterday only, and I got up a minute too late this morning, or I would have sold at 94. My order is back in though, so if it hits again today, I'll be out.

It isn't going to do it today. No volume.

                    • Yahoo! Thanks Mr. Market

That research was solid and maybe the hurricane helped a little too. I sold my Sept 2005 Call Strike 80 a little prematurely at $9.20 on 8/31/2005. I purchased it on 8/9/2005 for $1.05.

                      8/9/2005 $113.25
                      8/31/2005 $911.71

Gain after fees of $798.46 with a 705% ROI.

Moral: I'll bet a $100 that Mr Market is probably right on. Even if he happened to have bad timing 6 out of 7 times, I'd still break even. I just don't see that happening.

                            Mr.Market,

Check your last entry in closed trades BMHC. I can't believe it but I believe you've made an error.

p.s. I'm impressed that you are able to keep your cool with some of the posters at another site which I won't name. The calmer you are, the more irate they become. Keep up the good work

Billjoe, I still can't get over the fact that they actually think I'm Mr Market! The last time I checked, my biceps weren't even close to being 19".

Mr Market does show an impressive amount of restraint on the other board.

I actually invited one negative poster over here. I'll probably get my account canceled over it. I wonder if they'll send me a refund for the times that's left on the subscriptuion?
