This new stock will hit the market Friday, will Mr Market and the forum please comment. Price was to start at $19, but it now appears it may move up $25. Big mover or big flop?

I mentioned it at Mr. B last Sunday.

Currently trading at $117.00, 334% above its listing price. That is dumb.

Oh yeah actually I was in and out of it 4 or 5 times, but would not be in it for more than maybe 30 seconds to a minute. Not holding that stock for I don't want to be killed.

Going into it with 500 shares and the way that nut cased moved I was clicking sell after I was clicking the buy button. and making about $2 bucks a pop.

Congrats on making some nice $$$ choff!

But 6 hours of fun? Hmmm, I bet it wasn't fun when you watched your open entry of 80 plummet 'fearfully' 18% in the space of 5 minutes. Nor the following 'hopeful' 30 minutes that it took to get you break-even again. Emotions surely turned to 'joy' over the next 10 minutes as you went from breakeven to +25%, which may have turned to 'fear' of losing the profit over next 20 minutes when it dropped to only +12%. The next hour you patiently sat and watched as time confirmed you were correct for holding - perhaps quietly confident and 'proud' of yourself. Then the next 40 minutes you surely were 'feeling glee' and 'greed' until it maxed out at +87% for you, only to 'begrudgingly' watch it slip to close to a mere 53% profit...

Oh the joys of buy, hold and watch it!

But again, congrats. They don't all work out like that. A question though...did you learn anything from the experience? What would you have done differently? What will you do differently next time you trade an animal like this one?

Good tradin', and keep up the posts. Enjoyed the positive upbeat nature of your MTH trade....and believe it or not I was a heartbeat away from replying to it, to say that you were right at 96 resistance, and you should take profit and stalk it again.... Sorry I didn't post that....but I suspect you wouldn't have sold it anyway! lol

The way I'd approach one of these is that I'd put 3-5% of my portfolio on it, assuring no overall portfolio disaster. Then, once it's up 50-60% like yesterday, put in a 15 or 20 point trailing stop.

I certainly wouldn't watch one like that by the minute. Alerts would suit me just fine Congrats, CHoffman.

For a seasoned investor it would be a pain to sit there and watch but for a newbie it could be the thrill of a lifetime. Personally I would imagine it would be like Spike stated in his post. Watching it go up and down as the momo guys and daytraders got in an out would be to much exilaration and dejection in one day as it moved up an down. They'll learn as time goes by how expensive their time is.

Thanks again,. not a typical trade , just refied my house and transferred some $$$ and got lucky...had a slight heart attack than I felt euphoric for about 3 hours...Finally got a slice of the pie, then got a plane and took my profits to a loft project in downtown Scottsdale.....Hope it all works...but thanks for all the insight love the tips and the support....
                            Enjoy....

I am no newbie and I would'nt hold that thing for any length of time trading at somewhere near over 1,000 time earings. I did like the action friday, really puts one to the test! It was all worth my time and and then some. Had one of my best stock trading days in awhile. I see it coming back to test the $98 area this week atleast. ----->!!!JMHO!!!<-----
