    mooddude,
I really don't see much to like with this stock other than the interesting sideways chart and complete dry up of volume. Earnings earnings earnings are down according to latest report and they weren't that good before. Unless I had some astounding insider knowledge I'd avoid this one.
Tell us, mooddude, what did you see?

It wouldn't be a long position anyway, but rather daytrade or one-day swing. I agree that it's not the best option for long term.

There actually was good news to account for this move. I will briefly explain how and when I picked it.

WHEN: It was yesterday on September 13 during the trading hours, meaning that I could buy it for up to 70% profit today or 46% at the close.

HOW: I used the trial of IBD's Custom Screen Wizard. I guess other screeners could be used for the same purpose. I only set one criteria -- volume change vs. 50-day MA. It was set to be 500% and up. The dump included:

HCT HTC PWAV NXXI KSU ACTU EGLE PESI TMM CTIB, etc.

"Tell me which ones do you like and why?" -- MM. (smile)

I liked CTIB because of the surprise news, namely the new product launch. The news (and volume!) seemed to me quiet impressive to extend to the next day. So the rationale was simple. Note that that's not a system yet. I also liked EGLE because of the resent IPO in combination with a positive reversal on volume. PWAV attracted me as a member of the leading group that also includes MM's pick CMTL. It has great fundamentals in addition to that so it's potentially a good long-term play.

P.S. Newborn, please reduce the width of your chart. You are messing up my new thread
