Speaking of energy shares, take a look at WRES...took of nicely off the flat base. I will look for a pull back.

      alice,

I missed the entry this morning but here is the chart in case you were wondering. The intraday pattern yesterday wasn't inspiring me - I wanted a good clean pattern like today delivered. Pity I wasn't at my PC! I note you said 4%, so if you were disciplined you'd be out this morning and frustrated. But, don't be. One can always hop on board when it's safe to do so - when it's perfect TA time. This morning is one of those times, and having stopped out -1% yesterday I still would have taken this trade today had I been able to. So don't feel like -4% stop out foolish but think temporary exit until you see your next great setup in the chart.

        Spike,
Thanks for the update. I didn't get out yet. I was also away from PC and will remain tomorrow also as I am attending a conference. But looks like it might bounce back.

And it's ascending nicely now. The tweezer double bottom yesterday was the perfect entry people.

Well, I hope I picked a good stock. Since, I am only 21 I've got plenty of years to make money. I hope this does well, maybe just for my reputation on this forum.

I went to vector vest and got this information for JLG:

VectorVest Stock Analysis of J L G Industs as of 9/21/2005

JLG is undervalued compared to its Price of $33.75 per share, has somewhat below average safety, and is currently rated a Buy. Below you'll find detailed analysis based on the VectorVest system. To gain better insight, we urge you to sign up for the special trial offer today.

The ticker symbol for J L G Industs is JLG. JLG is traded on the New York Stock Exchange - (xN) and options are available for this stock

                  In-Depth Analysis
Business: JLG INDUSTRIES INC, (JLG) makes mobile aerial work platforms, telescopic material handlers and telescopic hydraulic excavators used mainly for construction, industrial, commercial and institutional applications.

Price: JLG closed on 9/21/2005 at $33.75 per share

Value: Value is a measure of a stock's current worth. JLG has a current Value of $57.17 per share. Therefore, it is undervalued compared to its Price of $33.75 per share. Value is computed from forecasted earnings per share, forecasted earnings growth, profitability, interest, and inflation rates. Value increases when earnings, earnings growth rate and profitability increase, and when interest and inflation rates decrease. VectorVest advocates the purchase of undervalued stocks. At some point in time, a stock's Price and Value always will converge.

RV (Relative Value): RV is an indicator of long-term price appreciation potential. JLG has an RV of 1.51, which is excellent on a scale of 0.00 to 2.00. This indicator is far superior to a simple comparison of Price and Value because it is computed from an analysis of projected price appreciation three years out, AAA Corporate Bond Rates, and risk. RV solves the riddle of whether it is preferable to buy High growth, High P/E stocks, or Low growth, Low P/E stocks. VectorVest favors the purchase of stocks with RV ratings above 1.00.

Well it bounced back nicely today (JLG) which I kind of expected I actually added to my position when it dropped 6% on friday. I am still bullish about this stock I feel it will move in the coming weeks and months.

                      WSTC: was $39.50, now 38.16 dn 1.34
                      TSAI: was 28.17; now 27.25 dn .92
