So many shorts and so little time. I see that JOE and TZOO both dropped some today. I'll be researching JOE a little more.

I'm liking the looks of Spikes pick also. DELL looks like it could be a real loser. Dell goes down and we make $$$. Hahaha!

I'm involved in a Wine Festival this weekend and I'll be very busy until Sunday. I'll check back in then. Have a great weekend everyone!

Ok Spike, I'm confused. I'm showing FNM as being "Fannie Mae" and you're showing it as "Federal Natl Mortgage"...What gives???

They are one and the same.
          See http://www.fanniemae.com/faq/231001y.jhtml?p=FAQ
" Fannie Mae operates under a federal charter, called the Federal National Mortgage Association Charter Act, which confers certain rights and responsibilities on the company. The charter requires that we increase liquidity in the residential mortgage finance market and promote access to mortgage credit throughout the country."

Cool...thanks. Regardless, it looks like a real loser. Or a real winner, for a short position!

They ought to fall much further. Their bookkeeping has been Enron-like.
              Nice chart. Nice call.

Congratulations Jiesen! The Vulcans love the short potential of FNM. If this stock sinks, you will go down in the short Vulcan hall of fame.

FNM really sucks as a company and the chart looks like a train wreck. FNM also has the Spike seal of approval.

I only have one more test to see if FNM is the perfect short, but I have one problem... I can't find a dang quarter to flip!

AFFX might be a good one down to the gap or about 5 points. Set up scan that returns money flow (-600). this returns huge sell offs.

PLT not looking to bad also

Just like using EW on the long side it works well on the short. Let the initial A corrective thrust down and then comes the B wave and short into this wave. Look for tweezer tops on light volume. Then you are now positioned for the move down, but not always. Often the first thrust is the most powerful.

Webs look over a bunch of charts and notice what happens after a nice thrust down. You have then just saw the "A corrective wave". Look to go short in the "b" and ride C down. You'll see the pattern repeat over and over again.

Remember if you try this place a hard stop in and do not fight it. If the stock is a momo forget it
