Spike, with a stock that you are bullish on (and if that stock is indeed a bull), in a 1-2-3-4-5-a-b-c ... will the c ever come lower than a former resistance low?
With BEL (if it proves to be bullish) we wouldn't see it hit as low as 2.90 (a former low) and then come up, would we?

Did you mean to say "former support low"?

And re the $2.90 former low question, sure one could see price do that. But I would long before start to question the count, and likely release the thought of it being a 'c' corrective. A corrective is supposed to act differently than an impulsive, and that's where you've got to decide what a move is - is it a corrective, or is it falling completely out of the pattern.

And everyone must remember that no matter how pretty a 12345ab looks, and no matter how sure you feel that the 'c' is going to end, one can't assume that it won't just fall straight out of that pattern and drop like a rock far lower than you might expect.

That's the market for you....no guarantees at all. Perfect patterns break.....inexplicably, without news, without apparent reason, sometime completely against logic....and that's why ya must have your r/r clearly defined, and be disciplined with stops. The entry and exit is the only thing you can control. And don't be lulled into a false sense of security that because I'm so bullish on BEL, and the patterns look so great, and everything has been rosy for several months, and it's moved +50% and I'm still bullish.......that BEL can't just implode and crucify anyone who isn't disciplined.

I'll say that again so there's no doubt. Nobody knows where price will go. I can do my best to chart it, but price will go where the market takes it. The market is a beast and merciless. If you don't see that, then check out charts like MOVI or ELN in 01/02, or ZICA, or a hundred other decent looking longs that died.

hehe wow huh? Friday surprized me....I thought it would do a good measured 'c'......but nope........it surprized and boom!

That kind of surprize is exactly the reason I've wanted to patiently hold with green hope.....so I don't mess with ins and outs trying to get cute with it. This way, I get those surprize moves and it's hopefully going to help my +50% turn into what I originally targeted (580% as per post 1 in this thread).......at least while it acts right, which it has been for me.......

Let's hope it acts right the whole way up hehe......but should it fall out of something significant, then I'll consider exiting early and stalking again.

Well CERS is a curious one dude. If you recall pick of the year 'c' long reasoning, it just broke at that 'c' support, and that's a very very bad thing for bulls. 'c' failures are significant.

BUT, on the long-term chart is showing this drop as potential handle on a cup.....so I think the gap fill 7.30 is going to be a very very clever support entry that may time well with the bull returning for it. That's my next move for it anyway.

lol Well, unfortunately you've missed some of the best entries previously posted, but never fear oh happy cheeky fun-filled buddy, there will be plenty of entries down the road. I wouldn't suggest chasing this now. This kind of move is for celebrations only. I posted a setup at my blog this morning, however it looks like it won't be coming back for that entry, so hunker down and stalk this baby for something juicy. CERS; I'll keep the thread on topic since this is the BEL thread, so I'll look at the CERS chart and see what I can see and post on my blog if I see anything worthwhile. I really see upside potential for CERS, and the gap fill 7.30 is the play at this stage.

That volume last 4 days sure is interesting It's gonna be tricker to call for a few days I think. If I were lookin' for an 'in' right now, I'd be considering the gap fill yesterday's high, but wisdom would probably get the better of me to step back and wait for a couple days and see what she does first. I'm in that 'I have no clue' state of mind right now, and I'm looking at that ominous candle today and green hoping the bull just ignores that mess lol.

I'm sooooooo glad I don't have to sweat an entry right now. Just sit back and relax...
