        Mr Market Stock Contest 2006

        Close on 5/5/2006

Aren't 'Ya Tired Of Hearing That Mickey Is Still $$$HUGE$$$...?

Well...it's still true...Mickey weathered the recent correction with little problem and looks poised for a possible next leg up as the 50sma held during this recent basing period. And now he's back above the 20ema so things are looking pretty good here for BWNG. He even came through another losing quarter unscathed as eps was announced this week.

Notable moves this week included Photon's WFMI +17.4% and Sower's ACI +11.7%.

Our A/D/U for the week was 19/7/0 and our YTD increased to 16/10/0 from 15/11/0 last week as Runner's TEVA went green.

Our overall % gain YTD increased to +15.92% from +14.18% last week.

Of course...we are still kickin' the cr*p outta the CSSGX which is +15.58% YTD...But CSSGX is trying to close the gap...I use the open on 1/3/06 for the indices and the close on 1/3/06 for the CSSGX because funds are only priced at eod.

              Close on 5/12/2006

Mickey is still $$$HUGE$$$ In a "Blood In The Streets" Type Week

Tough week for the contest pix...There were a couple of bright spots...
J's LJPC advanced 14.7% after being in the red 8 outta the last 9 weeks and Stocks54's ELN was up 7.5%.

Our A/D/U for the week was an embarrassing 5/21/0 and our YTD decreased to 14/12/0 from 16/10/0 last week as Runner's TEVA and Billyjoe's TLF went red.

Our overall % gain YTD decreased to +11.71% from +15.92% last week as the overall portfolio was -3.6% for the week.

Of course...we are still kickin' the cr*p outta the CSSGX which is +9.56% YTD as they tanked -5.2% for the week...Probably due to one of my holdings, ABAX, which they dumped this week. I use the open on 1/3/06 for the indices and the close on 1/3/06 for the CSSGX because funds are only priced at eod.

                Doug,
My TLF was up over 17% at one point this week when the elderly CEO decided he needed new false teeth or another retirement home and sold 3 million shares at 6.25 , thereby screwing thousands of loyal shareholders and causing a fast decline of nearly 20%. It has recovered about 6% of that loss.

This isn't scientific or anything but look at the performance of the Mr.Market top 10 vs. celebrity top 10. Maybe the celebs chose higher beta stocks. The Mr.Market 10 are holding up well.

Yeah, don't you just hate that? I mean, nothing spells "lack of confidence" quite like a CEO dumping his/her shares. Just look at OFG, when after saying the financials need to be restated, the CEO goes and dumps 2000 shares! I mean, WTF? Does he REALLY need the $25k so bad that he is willing to put his company's investor confidence in a tailspin, especially when the entire country is falling apart around him? And, he's got another 100,000 or so shares, so it's also taking a toll on his own investment to boot.

CEO's, get a clue, please! It's not like you don't earn enough, just live within the huge salary you've got. If you want more money, just run the business better, and get a nice big bonus. Stocks are for selling in retirement, or to pass on to your kids, not for dumping on the market when the company is in turmoil.... just my opinion, sorry for the rant.

                      Wanna see some dumping?!

Take a look at NRPH fellas.... The CEO and his entire family (and other holding companies he owns) has dumped millions of dollars worth of this stock since last year. One day when the moon is right and the chart looks weak.... I'm gonna short this stock into the gutter!

You fellas ain't gonna beleive what I just saw!!!! While sitting here typing this post (my desk faces the window and looks out over my pond and a pasture behing the house) I saw a bolt of lightening strike the ground about 75 yards from my house! RATTLED THE WINDOWS!!! Then a little column of smoke (steam) about ten feet high floated up and disipated in the air! WOW! I have never seen any thing like that before. My heart is racing.LOL! I hope this posts goes thru because my sattelite internet is working at about 30% during this storm. BOOOOOOM! Glad I wasn't standing back there!JEJEJEJEEEEEEEE

Lightining update!.... Now about ten of my cows and a bull have walked down to the area that the lightining struck the ground. They were way the heck back near the woods during the storm about 200 yards from the strike. Now the bull and a cow are both sniffing the ground right where it struck! this is just too freakin weird! I want to go out and see where it struck but I'll wait a while first.LOL!

Dude!!!!!!! You were only 75 yards from temperatures 3 times hotter than the surface of the sun!!!!!! Yowchiwowa!

That's a double top there on the weekly for NRPH dude! It is what it is until it ain't And on the weekly chart, it is a possible fifth completion, entering the 'a' correction down now.

32.25 is a little 'c' support area on the daily, so below $32.25 will be a C failure! You could short the breakdown right there, with 6% stop above the price resistance of $34.15 to target the 50 percent Fibonacci retracement zone of 50 $19.00, which is 41% profit, and risk/reward of 6.8; not bad....

Cool Lye...Or should I say Hot...I love lightning. Don't be a Wuss...Go out there and see what the damage is...What are the chances it's gonna strike in the same place twice?...Probably about as good as my ABAX closing at 30 tomorrow.

We get a little lightning here in So. Cal...But it's not that great unless you are up in the mountains...I remember when I lived in Texas when I was in 4th Grade...We sometimes got these lightning balls in the sky...They looked real small and they got a bit larger as they seemed to get closer then WHAMO...They would explode with bolts going in all directions.

Also, in the Carib Sea you can see some really good lightning storms.

I'll eagerly await your damage report...Doug(IIC)

                              Doug,
This is a true story, my brother in law , also named Doug, used to live in an old farm house in Lucas County, Ohio just a few miles south and east of Toledo, Ohio. According to a friend of mine who majored in geography, it's one of the flatest spots on the earth. They have some unusual weather from time to time especially almost tornado intensity straight line winds. More than once lightening balls would bounce around in the farm house. The old farmer who owned the house lived to about 90 and said he'd seen it happen over the years from the 1920's to 1970's. I'd read about it in books but might have had a heart attack if I'd actually seen those lightening balls. There is a scientific explanation.
What do you suppose would happen if a person were to touch one?
