And now for the long-awaited April POTY update!

        Some interesting facts:
        • There are 28 picks in the green (each of the 3 indices is also green) and 20 picks in the red.
        • 6 of the picks fall between the Nasdaq and S&P (0 and 4% gains).
        • The same player is leading in both the POTY contest, and the "what-if" scenario.
        • Rob's IMCL is in 3rd place, missing out on Stky's Silver by just 1%.
        • There are still 8 months to go, and anything can happen!

Also, if you've made one "what if" pick, you may enter one more, provided it's not the same type (short/long) as your other one. Scores will be added in the end for those with two "what if" picks. (Keep in mind the short picks count double the % gain or loss and so will be 2/3 your score, so pick them well!)
Actually, I need to clarify my last post... Grebnet is actually leading the "what-if" scenario. Although my GFCI short is at the top of the "what-if" list, my OSUR long drags me down to 2nd behind Grebnet and his mega-pick TRT!

Ok, Grebnet, you can relax now... (and great job!)

                      May update for the POTY:

                      I'm still winning!
(and though at first glance it doesn't appear that way, I'm actually in 3rd on the 'What-If' leaderboard, with Peanuts and Grebnet each tied at 63% for 1st)

                      Other interesting facts:
                      • 26 picks are green, 22 are red.
                      • Average score is 5%, which falls right between the S&P and Nasdaq % gains, and is equal to the average performance of the 3 indices listed.

                          • CYTR is finally starting to get serious about heading back to penny land where it belongs. I am not authorized for shorting, and I'm not sure if it would qualify anyway.

                              qualify schmalify - you're talking about a "what-if" pick

and that 10% drop today was all you'd have needed last week to put you in the lead for the "what-if" division of the contest. let's see if this brick can maintain it's terminal velocity for another month, and whether or not my trusty ol' GFCI can zoom to 0.010 (true penny status) even faster.

I meant qualify for actual shorting, like in real life.
