      Doug,
Now that's an interesting idea. Wonder how much a small add would cost?

Problem is I don't think they would accept an ad from Mr. Market...But I got that all figured out. I get a friend to place an ad for something real funny or free with a website address. Then when the paper goes to press I redirect the site address to here...Sound like a plan???

              Doug,
I had just come home from the army near the end of 1967 and a freaky friend of mine, Alex Anderson, who is another whole real good story, takes me out into the woods in Whiting, NJ to a party he cooked up at an old black lady's farm on School House Road. I went just to see if I could hunt the property. I meet Lizza Gore that afternoon and we immediately became good friends for the rest of our lives. She lived to the ripe old age of 102 years old. She was around 92 - 94 years old at the time I met her. I spent alot of time taking care of things for her and using the place as my own. She called me the dancer because I would get loaded and be jumping around all over the place. It's funny that she always referred to me as the dancer and never used my real name. Without a doubt she was one of the important women in my life. Stayed spry right up to the end and died in her sleep one night just like that.

                Ray,
What part of NJ and what time frame were you in the army?

That sure is a nice story. I'll bet she really appreciated you...Doug

                    Doug,
If you think you can swing doing that let's do it. What are your suggestions for the time frame and size of the add. I'm in whatever it is. The more that chip in the cheaper it will be for everyone. Let's do this just for the hell of busting their chops. We could openly challenge them or the IBD 100 to some kind of a contest to see which portfolio does better or just claim our abilities far outshine their.

                            • Re: DDD's drop today, I would submit that the specialist decided to generate additional volume by popping the sell stops down to the low 6s. 100K of volume in just a minute or two on a stock that hadn't done any volume for almost 2 weeks is suspicious. That's not a "correction." The stock had stayed put for almost 2 weeks and wouldn't "correct" off of its rise to that point. What seller would intentionally crater the pps like that? Tough day.

Even though the market was up today...I did not see that many "Quality" stocks on my winners lists...So we were 12up 14dn which confirms my personal lists...

Karel kicked it today w/ CELL +18%...Ninner's ADAM +11%...Park's DDD +7% and Dio's PFE +4.75%
