I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. CRDN has formed a symmetrical triangle and the daily range is tightening. ADX has been decreasing for several weeks. Today is a Cooper 1-2-3-4 set up with the trigger one or two tick above yesterday's high. Estimates for the next two quarters are up 43.90% and 187.50% respectively, YOY.

Reason: Cooper correction
Bounced smartly off the 200DMA and running into a resistance zone from December. Decided to jump back in even though it was at a higher price than where I sold it this morning.

Dave,
Got alittle anxious this morning on that initial gap down huh. Me to but I held on. Where did you sell at and where did you re-enter. Just curious. I'm still holding from $5.506.
I'd love to see it bang through that resistance at $5.85/5.90 area. Decent volume today so far. Everytime I get to optimistic an express it they end up pissing on my calf.

Sold this morning in chunks between 5.31 and $5.35. Bought back in between 5.55 and $5.61.
Been beating the drum on NTES for the past month.....they report tonight. Because of all the uncertainty regarding the NTES officer that was accused of taking kickbacks, and the credit card snafu that may have cost NTES up to $7 million, I am lightening my load considerably going into the announcement at 8 pm tonight. Which is easy to do since this thing is pushing above 75 today. My target was 80, and I will hold a few shares to make it interesting, but i just have a funny feeling now that they are ready to speak to us. This thing probably woulda been a homerun for me had I waited to sell, but my gut says otherwise.
On heavy volume. Climbing a rising trend channel within a trend channel; first resistance level (solid lines) is around right around today's high and the second level (dashed lines) is around 61.50.

You could have sold the $75 MAR calls for $5.20 and thus nabbed $80.20 for this winner. Man, this one has a great option chain!
Closed just below the 50% retracement level of the move down from the 2005 high to the 2006 low. Once 5.70 is taken out on a closing basis the next resistance level is the 61.8% retracement level, around 6.10.
Blow's away estimates.....LOL....musta been something I ate at lunch that caused by concern......oh well....money is money....just didn't make as nearly what i should have....cest la vie

I'm holding JLG march $55 call options. currently in the money 10% profit. I'm questioning whether to hold closer or till expiration, or to sell into the next show of strength. Do you have an opinion to share with me?
Adam, as the calls get closer to expiration, they'll start moving in lockstep percentage-wise with the stock's move. Watch for when that happens and at that point, you might want to sell them. Also, if JLG weakens you might want to lock in the profit.
