I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Highflier over the past year....earnings slightly missed but story still in tact....looking closely at entering here at 41.80...but something tells me more selling is due before she heads back up. Surprised no one has picked this up so far
Another one that has taken it on the chin today due to earnings....they don't lok to be a problem to me...bwthdik......going in here at 24.55...small position...looking for 1 - 2 points before tomorrow afternoon
I got stopped out of NWRE for a loss Tuesday. Pissed me off because the fundies and technicals looked strong. On NTRI, I haven't researched it but I read the headline - is the earnings drop a one-time thing, IYO, or is it something more systemic?

If you look at it...NWRE beat earnings estimates...they are a tad light on their 1 st quarter estimates.....but on the whole year they agree with estimates....definitely not worth a 5 point thrashing imo...thats why I bot
HRS - moving sideways with the 50DMA acting as support (tested twice in the last week). Daily technicals are bullish. ERG = 237 and estimates for the next two quarters are up 38.14% and 32.77% respectively, YOY.

It's not just NWRE. Each earning season has it's own peculiar characteristics and trends. For this one, it is punishing those that miss estimates far more than logic would seem to dictate.
Just look at CNXS, GOOG, NWRE and AMZN as examples.

HUUUUUGE call on NWRE Trev!
Might actually be a good short now @ 26.00 for another 4-5%.
