    It never fails

It seems to me that everytime MM picks a winnah, he buys it and it pulls back to give us forumites a better entry than the man. RIO, MFLX, and now this BBD. No question about it: BBD took a hit today. Should be getting a buy signal soon. Meantime MFLX won't slow down for nothing!

If after my own research, I decide to follow a buy from Ernie the Magnificent, I'll buy half right away, then put in another, lower order ... waiting for the fall ...

Ernie is SO HUGE .. he buys HIGH and sells HIGHER! He's HUGE!!

          Spike,

I cant tell you how much I have learn from you with charts. I do hope I get to meet you in Alantic City.

MM is huge and oh so generous. Love the pecks, pic's and stock picks. I am going to put a bid in for slightly lower then yesterdays low. Patients is the key here I believe.

Here is a classic example of why BBD needs an option chain. Sis, you could just sell the $30 or--if you are brave--$35 put and let the fleeing, terrified holders of this lovely bank pay you to buy their stock. It is so much fun!

CIB was good, BBD will be better

In BBD at 39.21. Target is 45.09. Time target 5 weeks or sooner.
That sure is some interesting volume on this one!

Still looking at BBD and my premise for the trade is the retest of the lower channel. The ATR on this stock is about 2.96 and this tells me about how much it has moved on average over the last 14 days. Now my retap line is about 37.89. Violation of last swing low would void my premise for this trade. I noticed a negative divergence in the S&P and BBD yesterday. My bull power indicator went down as price went up. Not saying this thing is dropping because we don’t know. All I can do is trade a plan. If BBD rocks from here great. If I'm wrong and this happens often then who cares NEXT....

                        Mr. Spike,

Can you bring down the language to a level that morons (like me) can understand?

                        Thanks,

                          Hello Farah,

Spike is saying that if you buy at 38.47 and put a sell stop at the LOD (Low of the Day) which was 37.90, you only risk 1.5%. Here is the calculation:

                          38.47 times 1.5% = 57 cents

                          38.47 minus 57 cents is 37.90.

At the time of that post it was a good time to buy BBD. It is still a good time to enter and cheaper than 2 hrs. ago. Just re-entered it myself at $38.35.

hehe ya, the momo and ski are correct. That TA I posted shows the support on the daily (channel long) and the intraday pattern to confirm the signal (inverted head and shoulders with neckline break). And the math is favorable; i.e. the risk is nicely outweighed by the reward. It's 1.5% risk with a stoploss tucked under the low of the day, to target Ernie's target, which is what 21% from current levels. Therefore the reward/risk ratio is 21/1.5=14. A r/r of 14 is very nice.

                              Best to ya.
