OK I'm getting bearish on PARL.... SOLD @ 28.25

Here's a weekly chart and a different angle on it. I'm out of PARL folks. @ $28.25.... My first closed "featured" trade is a loss. I'll post it later.

It's Chaikin Money Flow indicator that one; and yep, that's been trending back to the zero line since March too....the zero line support reaction gonna be interesting to note.

The weekly Chaikin Oscillator has been trending lower since late February. The oscillator plots the difference between two exponential averages of the Accumulation Distribution. The Accumulation Distribution uses the relationship between the open and close of the bar, and the range of the bar, to weight and characterize the volume as Accumulation (buying) or Distribution (selling). The indicator fell below zero (Distribution) the week ending 3/10/06.

What happens if the stock is experiencing a reversal? I guess it pays to "know the stock". Let see if PARL hit bottom yesterday. I think it did.

This post prompted me to check the daily again. And it's a channel long yesterday, but no pattern to confirm so that's a whisper of caution on the long side to me.

I was in PARL from 30 to 38, and back down to 30 for no gain

Lye and Spike, agree with you both. I wouldn't touch it now. I'll wait until it clears the upper trend line (30-31 range), and see if it settles in on a higher low.

But, that downtrend is bona-fide.

Lurk mode mostly. I've gone to a little more of a buy and hold. Watching charts and swing trading is fun, but it takes a lot of spare time.

What to stalk short?

.....might be some nice short plays sitting up right now. While the "masses" buy everything in sight, look for what might be ready to sell off.

ESLR is sliding today.... Didn't have my eye on it so I missed this nice 7-9% move down. I'll wait for it to recover a bit.

ENER is down over 5%.... Don't have a short position.

I'm short SIRF from above 39.50.

What are you fellas stalking short?

If I were to look for a short right now, SIRF would definitely make it to the top of my short list. Being long MSPD, I would consider it an effective hedge (if SIRF jumps 20%, MSPD should jump 30%).

I believe SIRF's initial burst of revenue growth is coming swiftly to an end. I could be wrong... but that's my initial impression of it.

I should probably just bail out of my MSPD right now, but I like owning it.

Covering NRPH (short) for a loss @ 34.68

This was a stupid trade.... Thank goodness I only had a small position. This is a local company that I watch.... and I SWEAR it's gonna fall eventially.

I just can't seem to buy a speculative stock with no sales.... Looking at NRPH's chart makes me think that maybe I should learn to.lol.... BUT!!!! When I see it's time for NRPH to crash.... I'll short this thing thru the basement! But for now.... My second closed featured trade is a loss.... I'll post details later.
