    Lye,
Just did some quick research on ECOL since I knew nothing about the company. I won't name the sources in most cases.
    1. service x rates it at outperform
    2. ranks at 80% or more in most categories vs. peers
    a.more profitable than peers
    b. less long term debt than peers
    c. utilizes assets more than peers
    d. revenue growth better than peers (average 24% last 5 years)

    3. negative earnings surprise last quarter -11%
    4. ranks 17th of 110 companies in pollution control

Momentum Investor Rates it at 68% which is very good
Small Cap Growth (Motley Fool) gives it a 76%
P/E Growth Peter Lynch rates it at 87% which is outstanding

One analyst said it was overvalued at 25, but gives it a buy recommendation
    Another rates it as undervalued

Projected growth is 23% for next year
Sales growth has been 71% for the previous 12 months

Pollution cleanup has to be a growing industry. Billyjoe gives it a longterm "buy".

I agree BillyJoe.... I hope I didn't sell too soon. I didn't like the lack of volume on that pop Friday. I'm hoping to buy it back on a pullback.

ECOL: has a target of $47.50. Seriously my friend, I can't figure out why you got out. Here's a plan: re-enter with half the amount of shares you originally had, and let them ride.

I don't have a rating system on each stock in each group although TMI looks nice...I also just happened to post a chart of FTEK on my thread...it could be interesting...Doug(IIC)

You didn't ask me.... but that never stopped me before.lol

My database has 45 companies grouped in "Pollution Control".... Ranked by VST Vector the overall best company currently is ECOL.... The last one (that is not a BB stock) is HDSN.... the one right above it is BEL. NOTE: there seem to be a lot of very small BB companies in this space.

Make you a deal NBB.... Give me your most honest straight forward opinion and TA on ECOL, JAH and SIRF and I'll post the entire group sorted anyway you'd like.jejeje

btw.... Thanks BillyJoe!!!! great work there dude.

Your avatar is freakin' me out Doug! I thought I saw SIRF @ $50 in it and I almost choked on my oatmeal cookie.

Edit: TMI is listed second to ECOL in my Database in Pollution Control Services....

FTEK is in Pollution control "Equipment" not "Services".... My datedase shows 24 stocks in the "Equipment" group.... My favorite one there is CECE.... but FTEK looks good too..... AND.... it just closed that 14.88 gap (to the penny!) on Friday and may very well move back up now.

ECOL: still can't figure out why you dumped this one. HOT STOCK!
                            1st target: $31
                            2nd target: $47.50.

Last time ECOL broke out, it took three months to reach its peak, and then about 2 weeks later it double topped at the same money . . . .

PnF still doesn't like this one. Says PARL and JAH are both candidates for a $19 bottom . . . .at least we can say that current resistance is strong at $33.37. Yes, the daily sports a cup with handle and a $34 target. I don't like this one: sorry

SIRF:currently rangebound between $35 and $39.75. Until either the support or resistance breaks, you should trade with the ranges, i.e., buy $35, sell $39.75. PnF says she's going to break that $35 support and fall down to $28.
Well, that $35 support is quite substantial. It can bust alright, but it isn't going to bust easily. Having said that, I would also say that if a stock keeps hammering its support base, it eventually shatters. SIRF has hammered it 4 times. Monday needs to be an up day for SIRF or else $28 might be in vogue again.
