      Lye,
My little nephew Mitchell may have beat you. He got a 175 lb. doe with a 20 gauge last week during the youth hunt in Ohio. He also told me he had a perfect score on the required hunters safety course. Now if I can con him out of some sausage.

        Q

        Lye,

I figured that I should tell you that I decided to cover the rest of my short in Q @ $7.50. That was a great call on the stock. I used to own it long

Thanks a lot, dude. SCHN is up only 29½% since 10/12. It's not your fault I didn't buy it. It's mine.

doh! I guess this tide is floating all ships...

Seriously, though, SCHN really was the worst performing stock in the PSI at that time.

Well how can anyone "buy low and sell high" without buying low? It can't be done.

Yeah, either that or it was just flat a good call.

                  maybe, just maybe...

Rob, it was a GREAT call! Anytime a stock is positive, the call is good. But, your SCHN went nearly 30% higher. That, sir, is $$$HUUUUUUGE$$$

                    I know.

I seem to be pretty good at picking winners when I don't actually purchase them. The ones I do buy only occasionally do as well, frequently trading down or sideways forever.

Within the past few days I opened long positions in AXS and XRTX, both about which I'm hoping to be able to say, "I bought low" when I do sell them. We'll see.

Yes, I'm familiar with the company. The CEO is a decent gentleman whom I know personally. I don't own the stock.

What would make you want to buy the common stock?

Some solid sales growth would really be nice....

But I just don't buy stock in companies this small. The only small company I pump my ca$h into is my own corp.

                                Steel Scrap

                                Lyehopper,

The price of scrap should significantly drop as more DRI producers come on line.

Read this and tell me what you think: LINK

The last sentence was the most poignant to me.

Do you sell back your scrap at set rates? How often are the prices adjusted? How many tons/year do you sell back?
