I think Lye-baby missed your post, so I'll answer.
    1. go here to Stockcharts
    2. Enter a symbol--how about PARL?
    3. Under the chart, you'll have options of what indicators you want to use.

        Great thread Lye!

Just as I expected, I made some profound discoveries that I will be incorporating into the VTP. Also, a European expnsion is a possibility.

          PARL Area Chart

          Hey Lye,

I’m working my way through the new SharpCharts2 update at StockCharts.

Since we both own PARL, I thought I would see what the “Area” Chart Attribute looked like versus the “Candlestick” we normally use. It is a lot easier to spot a head and shoulders. What do you think?

I gave Spike my email Rob.... what?.... You know by experience that I don't check my email right?....hehehe....

I like to read Spike's "stuff".... fuzzy or not.je....je.... I just like it over HERE.lol.... But I think I understand what he's thinkin' and I guess if I put as much energy into something like he has in his charts and setups and stuff that I'd want it organized in a nice consolidated place too. I just didn't want him to forsake the forum because of some member "personality conflicts" that tend to happen on a public forum like this.... I don't think he will. Plus, he don't want me to send Webs after him.

              btw.... adding GEHL

Hey Tim.... I don't think a SHS pattern is an issue in PARL's chart dude. I don't see a serious breakdown.... Remember why it retraced in the first place.... a "non event" imo.

It seems to have found support @ the MA 200.... If it breaks that it should bounce pretty quickly off the 0.618% fib retracement line (around $28.32).

btw.... what size is that chart you posted dude?.... Karel's gonna pound you over that HUUUUGE thing.lol Try to keep it 700 pixels or less (wide). If they are too big they crowd $$MM$$'s sponsers advertisements off the side of the screen.... And we can't have that. You know how HUUUUGELY important that "penny stock report" is now don'tcha?....jejeje

Interesting looking company. Everything I read about it was good. How does the VTP like it? From what I can see, about 12 analyst are on it, with half of them putting strong buys on it with rest putting out buys.

Yes, PARL is very interesting, especially considering the fact that this company is associated with Paris Hilton. Of course, Paris has nothing to do with the companies fundamentals, but the fact that she is involved does, to a certain degree, have an affect on this stock. Therefore, I had to incorporate this into the VTP vectors, in order to obtain an accurate assessment of the future price action.

I ran quite a few variables through the system and came up with almost the same result each time. On average PARL had a very high ranking, although it does show that there may possibly be some more price volatility in the short term, before we see a trend upwards towards my $40 short term and $65 long term targets.

I am keeping an eye on the short term indicators for any possible sell off conditions, in order to maximize profits. I sold PARL before I went on vacation at $31.41, knowing that I would be able to buy it back two weeks later at a lower price. I bought back in yesterday at $31.05. Of course the VTP indicators were showing a possible retracement to $29. If I hadn't been out of the country, I would have taken advantage of that price point. I usually go cash when I'm out of town.

I will probably hold my position through next week, as it is possible that the indicators may turn even more positive, indicating that the price is ready to make a quick return to the upper 30 range as a result of short covering, especially considering the large amount of short interest in PARL.

Why, of course! Haven't you ever heard the expression, "If you can't do, teach. And if you can't teach, then teach teachers?" If you can't trade, become an analyst. And if you can't become an analyst, work for the SEC.
