Bush to Meet With Big 3 Automakers

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush 's long-promised meeting with the heads of Detroit's Big Three automakers will be held Tuesday at the White House.

The auto executives tentatively were scheduled to meet with Bush in May, but in September, the meeting was pushed back until after the election.

That prompted criticism from Michigan's Gov. Jennifer Granholm and other Democrats who said the administration had neglected the problems of the Big Three automakers and its workers.

The White House said the president talks to the automakers all the time, and promised that Bush will hold his meeting with the heads of General Motors Corp., Ford Motor Co., and DaimlerChrysler AG's Chrysler Group in mid-November. White House spokesman Tony Fratto said Bush would meet with the automakers before leaving on a trip to Asia.

Bush declined an opportunity to have the meeting in Detroit when he was there in early September to attend a fundraiser for a GOP Senate candidate about 40 miles northwest of Detroit. The Big Three automakers all have headquarters in or near Detroit.

I just wanted to warn you about CVGI because it seems very risky in my opinion. If I had your position @ 19.00$ I would take the small profit now and wait to see whats going to happen. CVGI is currently inside a huge triangle, that seems to be a bearish symmetrical triangle unfortunately because we can count 5 descending waves before the triangle. Of course, there is still a little possibility that the triangle is a bullish one but it's not worth the risk in my opinion. If the price breaks 21.00 then it was bullish and buy but if it breaks 18.00 sell short that thing asap according to the chart below.

My half beagle pup age six months has started rolling in other critters excrement with great enthusiasm within the last couple weeks. It's like a cat with catnip. She can find it faster than I can react even when she's on a leash. What is your diagnosis ? Thanks

My Australian Cattle Dog (Nyna) loves to do that too Billy and she's a fine dog. I wouldn't worry about it too much, just don't let her ride in the cab of your truck.... make her ride in the back. You know, a good working or hunting dog has to be given some extra rights imo....

Think of Pavlov's dog. Use behavioralism to train it.

It will seek pleasure and avoid pain. If it associates the rolling in poo with pain, then it will quickly learn that that action results in pain, and it will be avoided.

Dogs love to roll in other animals excrement and some like to take a snack along with rolling in it. I would take some fox scent, which you can get in a bottle, and put that scent heavily on some excrement and place it around the yard. If it still rolls in it the next time it rolls in the stuff take some of the excerement and apply a large dose of the fox scent on it and put it in her dog house with her and leash her short so she can't get away from it. Leave the dog like that for a couple of days. That should do it. Old Lakehurst trick.
