I hear alot of talk but not much action. WE humans demand that a release date be put forth on the VTP!

Webs, what happened the last time Humans began making demands on Vulcans? Soon they will begin to demand to know the inner workings of the VTP and the effects of the Vulcan cause.

I hope the respite with the Amish was refreshing. Nice trees in the area, I'm sure.

UUU has seen it's third day of consolidation and may bounce, offering a scalp play for Monday. $30 is still attainable, I think.

Gwhiz...I've been waiting at least 5 yrs for it to be revealed...Apparently Web's definition of "Coming Soon" is not in sync with what most of us generally believe...Doug(IIC)

Having been part of the inner circle of the VTP up until my recent departure I have wondered the same thing on occassion. I think alot of other forum members are also wondereing what is going on with the development of the VTP and their discipline.
I would like to see a statement unvealing their trading strategies and the developement of the VTP website but we get nothing but insinuations that it is in developement and that it will be revealed in due course. After a year or two of this it gets lost in the sauce so to speak. We haven't gotten anything of substance yet. That an one other issue was part of the reason I turned in my Vulcan ears.

My decision to short basic steel is not based on TA or news from China.... It's based on my own due diligence and experience doing business with and trading the sector. All that said; I might be a bit early but I've gotta keep at least one short play in the hopper so if steel gets "nailed" I can say I was "there"....LOL!

The Vulcans are predicting that steel is going down the vulcan tubes for a few vulcan days. It takes a real vulcan man to short steel at this point but Lye is just that vulcan man to do it. As a matter of vulcan fact I may short this vulcan thing myself. I think I'll enter AKS short in the vulcan POTW. Vulcan A!!!

Doug, I just went short steel last Monday. All you have to do is read back about ten posts on my thread and you'll see why I made the decision to short sell the basic steel sector.

I personally have no idea where Lye got that idea...BUT...Recently China which needed all this steel announced that they now are producing too much...So they have to look to export it...If true, that would be negative on the steel prices...However, US steel producers have said that demand is rising...Mixed bag....But I would place my $$$ on the China story if I was forced to believe anything...We'll see...but I think Lye is right...But it is a timing issue...Doug(IIC)

the Bull vs the Bear in my head....

It's weird but I'm a bull and a bear at the same time.

Here's what I'm doing. I've decided to trim my steel shorts to just one, X.... So I've covered STLD and AKS and I'm holding X short. The technicals of this group look good despite my belief that steel is about to correct deeper. So I'll keep X short and watch for a "sign." to either exit or short more steel....

This allows me to focus on some long positions that I own that deserve adding to, given current bullish market conditions.

JAH for example is headed to $45 I think, so I'm buying more of it. ECOL is gonna rock and roll, but I want to buy more shares cheaper.

I'm buying some smaller Simi equipment supplier (related) companies that I don't want to mention just yet. Well, I'll mention three, NEXT, ELSE and KLIC. The fourth is too thinly traded right now (has traded less than 10k shares today) but I've owned it in the past and I think it doubles easily from here.

I still like CEDC a whole lot too and I added some shares of it today as well.
