Visa Ipo

I heard there will be a VISA IPO but I do not know when. Does anyone? How can I get in on this action and how much cash money do I need? Scottrade does not offer IPO’s. Where can I purchase some? Can I buy like 20 shares?

Although...Sometimes when a split is an odd amount like 3/2 there can be a little bit of a problem...some goes to cash...But the affect is very minor unless you are trading 7 figures

I understand that you do not own more shares when it splits. Say I shorted a stock for ten dollars and then it splits 2:1. Now the price is five dollars. So what happens to my short? Do I lose more $$$ due to the split? This is the part I do not understanding and thanks for your help.

Question on short and split

What happens when a person wants to short a stock and they hold it into the split?

BTJ 3 for 2 stock split

As you know this is perhaps my favorite stock. Anyway is the split a good thing or just watch and wait. From watching other stock splits, most of them tends to go South except for RIMM. Any thoughts anyone?

Good idea to go to Scottrade. I will ask my sister to take me after school next week. I had to get rid of those shares minutes after the market open and before I left for school. I had a feeling that it would go down and it did go down more than six points.

I will be shopping for a new broker after my mid term next week.
