Greetings fellow traders. I am Quasi-Ernie, approximately, in some sense or degree like Mr.Market himself. Having no need for money myself , my goal is to help you reach financial success. Asking for nothing in return, your prosperity is my reward. I propose the formation of the Quasi-Ernie Investment Club. You pick the stocks to purchase and sell. We will be very diversified. There will be no mechanical stops.
1.Stocks will be selected based on the agreement of 5 members of the forum
2.A maximum of 2 stocks will be chosen each month. An equal amount of quasi dollars will be invested in each stock. All positions will be long.
3.When completed the quasi portfolio will contain 24 stocks. I will fund each position with quasi dollars in the amount of $41,667. Totalling $1,000,008
4.Minimum gain desired per position will be 15%. Stocks will not be automatically sold at 15% gain and will require 6 members to agree to sell a position
5.Emphasis will be on a longer term hold (6 to 12 months) although a stock may be deleted and replaced at any time.
6.Quasi-Ernie will periodically post the performance of the portfolio both in dollars and %. All information and selections will be available at no cost to Mr. Market is Huge Forum members.
The beginning of the month is a fine time to start this portfolio. Perhaps a former top 5 in one of Mr.Market's dumps would be a good selection. Please try to ad additional information , fundamental or technical, concerning your desired pick.
