I am flabbergasted that you would say something like that NBB. If you are talking about the extremist Islamic Groups then I could understand...But you are including "Everyone" who is Muslim.
I don't believe that for a second...There are 2 Muslim Mosques within walking distance of my house...One seems pretty closed knit and it appears that outsiders are not welcome...particularly women...But the other one opens its doors to everybody...In fact, that's where we have our Neighborhood Watch and Neighborhood Council meetings...And there are a lot of Jewish people that live in my area....There are also Muslims in my neighborhood...Am I to think that they are secretly storing weapons of "Mass Destruction" in their attics?
I believe you should re-think your stereotypic view...There is no way I believe all Muslims are bad and out to exterminate Christians and Jews.
1 outta 30 people in the US are Muslim...What are we supposed to do?...Have a Civil War?
My take is that there are politicians; e.g. Saddam...That use religion to attempt to complement their political agendas. You can try to separate Church and State...But you can't seperate Religion and Politics...Doug(IIC)

I hear what you are saying; I understand where you are coming from. Please try to understand this:
The attitudes of the population in Southern California is quite different than the attitudes of the people of Afghanistan. Did you read/hear about the man in Afghanistan two weeks ago who converted to Christianity? They had a big trial and was going to give him the death penalty just for becoming a Christian. George Bush and many other nations and people had to intercede for the man just to get him out of the country alive. The peoples of Afghanistan were demonstrating and saying "He should die!" Does this sound tolerant to you?
My point is that Muslims, when they are a very minute minority in a nation, act one way; when they become a majority, they act like that I described for you above. Do you think Iran, an Islamic state, is a very small minority of Muslims? Do you have any idea how people live there? Pakistan--in college a man from Pakistan who lived down the hall from me told me he became a Christian when he saw his uncle executed for refusing to deny Christ. They (the civil authorities) shot him dead in the public square. Don't you know what the Palestinians are trying to do to the Jews in Israel since 1948? Haven't you heard that the PLO is teaching the kindergarteners to "kill the Jews" and "push them into the sea?" Surely you know that they have a bomb blast every single day. Is this the open, kind Muslims you are used to?
I am not saying that 'let's go out an kill every single Muslim we can find." I am saying that the Muslim religion is a terrorist religion, and the people of the US would do well to have a real view of the impact of the Muslim religion on the people in places where it is practiced by the majority.
Lastly, of a Biblical nature, the book of Revelation tells us how this world concludes. There will be 7 years of extreme tribulation before Christ comes back to put an end to all the killing. About 90% of the earth's population dies during those 7 years of war and famine and disease. During that time, do you know where the political, economic, social and religious center of the world is located? Babylon. Do you know where Babylon is located? 50 miles SW of Baghdad. Do you know what every single nation of the world will be doing when Christ comes back? All the nations of the world will be gathered around Jerusalem and seeking to exterminate every single Jew and Christian.
