Other than PARL and MFLX, I counted 98 others on the list.

Good job! Actually I mentioned MFLX because it has been hammered down thus far, and probably bears watching for a new entry.

Could the bottom have finally been put in?
Really looking forward to being on the right side of a newsworthy short squeeze here.

Which stock are you referring to? PARL? or MFLX? (or both?)

              I was referring to PARL.

After first breaking out in late 2003 through early 2004 ...

Low in 2004 was in early May at $7.15.
              - doubled from there by October
Low in 2005 was in early May at $14.85.
              - doubled from there by August
Low in 2006 was in early May at $24.60
              - double from here to $50 by September?

Does that sound unreasonable? I don't think so.
              - that would make the PE about 30, while according to the data at moneycentral, the earnings growth rate the last 5 years is 31.5%, 102% for FY2006, and 38.3% in FY2007. - I show it fairly valued at $50.
              - on a log chart, draw trendlines for highs and lows from beginning of 2005 through late this year - I show it going to $50.
              - zacks says beating estimates and upward estimate revisions drive stock price. PARL has beat 3 out of the last four times, met the other time. Estimates for the current quarter and year, and for next year, were raised in the last 30 days.
              - IBD says to buy stocks with high EPS and RS ratings. PARL's EPS rating is 97. The RS rating is 14.

Sorry if I sound like a shameless pumper on this one. But, as I've said before: "This isn't my opinion because I'm long, I'm long because this is my opinion."

Also, relative to PARL, IPAR has half the growth rate and twice the PE.

That's interesting inasmuch as I belive IPAR was one of $$ Mr. Market's $$ winning momentum plays a year or two ago.

                    Rob,
I noticed you list your location as 'God's Country".
That's quite a coincidence, I'm in New Jersey, too !
                    regards ... stenz

                      Superfluous Mishmash

Stenz, I lived in New Jersey from the Summer of 1959 to the Spring of 1962. I have only a little recollection of it though, as I was then just a mere sprout. We lived in a town called Succasunna, 84 mi. NNE of Cherry Hill and later moved to a town just 8.5 mi. NE of Cherry Hill called Riverside. Even though I was only 5 when we moved from there to California, I have a few vivid memories of living in N.J. I don't know how it looks now, but then it was kind of rural. We rented a farm house that was surrounded by orchards. I remember we had an enormous front lawn that was full of these little round burrs that would get stuck in your socks and kind of hurt. My old man, it turns out, became a programming whiz in the then fledgling computer era, and he got hired away by Lockheed in the S.F. Bay Area.

I mention all this because: (1) just curious if you know those places in N.J. and (2) to brag on my old man a little bit. He really was a computer genius. I'm not, despite what Lyehopper says, but I do plug away at it.

p.s. Oh yeah. "God's Country," as I use it, refers to the Blue Ridge Mountains in SW VA, a few miles down the road from Lyehopper.

I know Riverside well enough to find my way to the soccer field. This whole area east of Camden has apparently been filling in for the last forty years, not so rural anymore until you get about 20 miles east of Cherry Hill. I've only been here about 6 years, previously in Valley Forge PA for 8 years, Houston for 12 years, born in Buffalo, moved to Albany in the 6th grade.

I'm no whiz, but I have been awarded 2 patents. The last one was just awarded a month ago after being filed in 2001. # 7,035,333 "Method of Reverse Play for Predictively Coded Compressed Video" It's an MPEG thing, if applied would make TiVo's play as smoothly in reverse play as in forward play, instead of herky-jerky like they do now.

That's pretty impressive stuff, Stenz. I don't own a TiVo system, and I don't think I've ever even seen a TiVo recording played back. I'm still using the ol' VHS, although I do sometimes save clips in MPG format to my computer. The sound quality is pretty awesome. I didn't know TiVo utilizes MPEG technology. I guess it shouldn't be too surprising. I've been sort of peripherally following the DVD technology face-off between Blu-ray and HD-DVD, and they are both reported to use MPEG-2, VC1 and (Mac) H.264 formatting. Though I know nothing about the algorithms employed in those formats, I do know that Blu-ray is supposed to be able to encode 50GB of data onto a dual layer DVD disk vs. 30GB on the same disk for the HD-DVD format. It's like the old feud between VHS and Beta Max in the early 80s.

                          Not exatly PARL-related, I realize ...

It's a freebie. They brought back the pretty-colored ones they took away from non-subscribers a few years ago.
