I have 35 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Jack,
I'm not sure if this is out of your field of specialization, but what is your opinion on Diamond Offshore? From the perspective of a novice like me it looks ridiculously underpriced. It has been highly publicized recently, and I fail to understand why the price is so low. Not only because of earning outlook, but also because the price of oil is headed upward in the foreseeable future.
It would makes sense if there was something that is keeping the price down that I, and Forbes don't see.
Any thoughts?
I know nothing about the market of diamonds. But, if you get a chance, go see the movie Blood Diamonds. It was worth seeing.

Thank you Jack. I was looking at it this morning and thinking that it was looking a little cheap right here. Are you considering a position and at what price? I can see on the daily chart that the MACD and OBV indicators are tracking up and the CMF and A/D lines are trending down. The stock is up .80 right now.
I currently have an accumulated position of 680,000 shares since Jan of 2006. Plan to unload at 25, and 28.
INTC’s 4th quarter revenue for this coming Jan 16th announcement is tracking on the high end of guidance (9.1-9.7). Several indicators reveal that Intel benefited from a stronger uptake of Core 2 Duo mobile processors (Merom), as well as stronger momentum in servers (driven in part by share gains versus AMD). The compnay expects Q4 gross margin to benefit from improved mix.
